people unfamiliar with american football often think its not as tough (tough meaning rough, not difficult) as Rugby. But because American football wear pads, they hit that much harder. the pads are there so people don't die. they throw their whole 200 pound bodies with a crazy amount of velocity and force into each other.
Edit: I’m not shitting on Rugby, those players are tough as hell. Just pointing out that NFL is just as if not more tough. Both great sports.

I'm impressed that MJ would like to try playing, but she was awesome arm wrestling in a recent livestream some months ago... I'd love to see them react to the LFL (women's league) those ladies can play and go hard. The flag football version is a lot of fun too, with less worry about contact injuries.

It was entertaining with all of the girls in a hotel room and there was an arm wrestling challenge and MJ won easily over Minji and Cha Cha, and I recall them remarking that they were surprised how strong MJ is.

why would they be impressed by tailgating? College football has a lot of pomp and circumstance and a lot of crowd reaction so I could see that being impressive, but tailgating is just getting to the game early, drinking and cooking some food in the parking lot. It isnt a big deal to anybody except those that do it
@@nicholasbrown4109 Maybe you aren't familiar with us Koreans. We like to party and that is what tailgating is all about. It just makes the football game even better with a little booze and barbecue to go along with it.

We play with no shields, no helmets, aka no protection. Its much better. Our athletes are stronger, can handle more hits, and know the real feeling.

A lot pro football players take ballet classes to improve their balance and agility, which helps them pull off those huge leaps over diving tackles, celebration flips, and run the razor's edge along the foul line at the sideline of the field.

They hit harder and it's more violent than rugby hence why they wear protective gear. Also in football they use their heads.
The point of this channel is to show Korean people things they aren't exposed to in Korea so there's no point in showing things like MMA as that is already quite popular there.

MJ, I think you would look good in a helmet and shoulder pads, I think it's great you would like to play. To put it in perspective the average offensive lineman is 6' 5" tall and weighs 315 pounds. When these guys block or tackle each other it sounds like a train wreck. Tim Tebow once threw a ball 68 MPH. I much enjoy seeing the reactions that you ladies have.
In rugby, you have to wrap the person you're tackling. If you did even half of the hits in rugby that you could do in American football, not only would you get ejected from the game, you would probably be facing charges and fines. I'd say, in order of potential danger to the players, it would go Australian football, American football, and then rugby. I would argue that rugby requires much more skill in terms of tackling technique, though.
