people unfamiliar with american football often think its not as tough (tough meaning rough, not difficult) as Rugby. But because American football wear pads, they hit that much harder. the pads are there so people don't die. they throw their whole 200 pound bodies with a crazy amount of velocity and force into each other. Edit: I’m not shitting on Rugby, those players are tough as hell. Just pointing out that NFL is just as if not more tough. Both great sports.
@@jonoren4732 no, the point I was making is that the pads give players a false sense of protection and throw their bodies at each other that much harder.
I'm impressed that MJ would like to try playing, but she was awesome arm wrestling in a recent livestream some months ago... I'd love to see them react to the LFL (women's league) those ladies can play and go hard. The flag football version is a lot of fun too, with less worry about contact injuries.
@@theshermantanker7043 I don't see it on the livestream list, so they must've taken it down/didn't post it. It was entertaining with all of the girls in a hotel room and there was an arm wrestling challenge and MJ won easily over Minji and Cha Cha, and I recall them remarking that they were surprised how strong MJ is.
Loved the video! I also thought it was interesting that the ladies, who aren't that familiar with American football, were able to recognize taunting in every instance it took place.
american football is a point of pride for most americans, players put theyre bodies and souls into the game, and it shows in how they move, i never watch the sport but i respect the hell out of those guys, they represent the peak of our country's strength like are marines
why would they be impressed by tailgating? College football has a lot of pomp and circumstance and a lot of crowd reaction so I could see that being impressive, but tailgating is just getting to the game early, drinking and cooking some food in the parking lot. It isnt a big deal to anybody except those that do it
@@nicholasbrown4109 Maybe you aren't familiar with us Koreans. We like to party and that is what tailgating is all about. It just makes the football game even better with a little booze and barbecue to go along with it.
or watch rugby, from England, aka the creators of the sport. We play with no shields, no helmets, aka no protection. Its much better. Our athletes are stronger, can handle more hits, and know the real feeling.
As a Minnesota Vikings fan, I'm just happy and proud to see the Minneapolis Miracle make the cut lol despite losing in the playoffs that year - Big shoutout to Stefon Diggs who's now balling out for the Buffalo Bills, still one of my favorite all-time players (even tho I'm a big Justin Jefferson fan now who became my Number One)
Hey, as an Australian, I would love to see you guys react to AFL (Australian Football). Like how NFL is just in America, AFL is a completely different game and it's very unique and fun to watch.
A lot pro football players take ballet classes to improve their balance and agility, which helps them pull off those huge leaps over diving tackles, celebration flips, and run the razor's edge along the foul line at the sideline of the field.
American football is always exciting if we only got touchdown lololol... if only... but no i have to sit through my brother yelling at the television most of the game.
@@gladlawson61 yes I’m sure if a rugby player breaks his leg, has a heart attack, or some other, as u say "freak accident", happens they’re definitely going to keep playing…???
The point of this channel is to show Korean people things they aren't exposed to in Korea so there's no point in showing things like MMA as that is already quite popular there. I'd love to see Hockey next though, I think that'd be quite different.
They've actually done hockey already, a couple of years back. Well, hockey hits and fights anyway. Pretty sure MJ wanted to get in there and drop gloves.
To clarify the rules and rugby make the impacts and actual physical ailments of the sport easier to bear on the body. Simply less intense than American football
4:44 well my brother who played football all throughout middle and high school didn’t leave it with any less than 7-9 concussions…so take that as you will
How about Best Entrances in College Football Or Best Traditions in College Football College Football is college (university) players only, and have a number of stadiums where over 100,000 fans go to watch regular games. The atmosphere and tradition are like no other
MJ, you can play, there are women football leagues too, and flag football for people who are just learning how to play. Not sure of the availability in Korea though.
MJ, I think you would look good in a helmet and shoulder pads, I think it's great you would like to play. To put it in perspective the average offensive lineman is 6' 5" tall and weighs 315 pounds. When these guys block or tackle each other it sounds like a train wreck. Tim Tebow once threw a ball 68 MPH. I much enjoy seeing the reactions that you ladies have.
In rugby, you have to wrap the person you're tackling. If you did even half of the hits in rugby that you could do in American football, not only would you get ejected from the game, you would probably be facing charges and fines. I'd say, in order of potential danger to the players, it would go Australian football, American football, and then rugby. I would argue that rugby requires much more skill in terms of tackling technique, though.
It would be a great reaction to get a U.S. football team to visit Korea, even just a few of them for a visit. They would get to experience the true size of the players and the equipment they use. Or fly the girls to the States to experience it. If I were rich I'd pay for it just to watch the reactions!
thats one girl said she want tray play, there has call flag ball thats is has basic football rule and position but a little more safe, cause you not really tackel but grab ribon flag on other player waist...but hast same rulu same position same ball...
