Why the fuck are the cops even entertaining a conversation with the dude yelling on his porch. He says he has cameras of the incident, look at that, end of discussion. They're not doing anything to deescalate the situation and then they lie to him about why the neighbors called them in the first place. Tattooed face dude isn't earning himself any favors either. My ex-husband was a neighbor from hell when were married. He claimed ownership of the right side of the road that ran past my property. No one was supposed to park anywhere on the road that bordered my property and this was a corner property so imagine. I begged him to leave the neighbors alone, but he was in constant argument with one particular neighbor who owned property across the street. He would verbally attack the man, threaten him, use the weed eater on the outside to mess up his truck when he was parked there, walk around with a gun on his hip which he would periodically show, shot out the man’s truck window with a pellet gun and finally took him to court to prevent him from parking on the public road. Of course it was thrown out but he continued to claim that he had won the case. The only relief came when I started divorce proceedings against him and he was removed from the home for domestic violence. Imagine what I endured!
She should’ve been charged for assaulting the officers.

Obviously right? That's the first thing I do when I move in. make friends with the neighbors. This diffuses them possibly hating me because they don't like how I wash my car lol or how I mow my grass. Yeah.... making friends with the neighbors is a MUST!
Yeah, not too friendly, nothing like a bad break up. But I live in a small space in a city where everyone works from home relatively often. So 24/7 so close together.

These are some interesting people.
We had 2 bad neighbors here and most of the neighborhood couldn’t stand them. One thankfully moved out and the other lives here for 6 months and then goes back to MI for the summers. People have called the police on them multiple times and the one that’s still here has become unhinged multiple times. He came after me before when our newspaper flew out of the recycling bin due to the wind and he demanded I go pick it up from his yard while yelling and threatening me so I refused to go there for fear he would come out and shoot me. Even the homeowners association has called the police on him. After that when I would take the garbage and recycling out they would inspect it. WTF??? We used garbage cans for ours while some just threw the bag onto the curb and one day a raccoon or some animal tore his bag open but no apology there from him. Only the rules apply to us. He even tried to get the 4 extra parking spots by the tennis court taken away for us to use and only to allow for visitors even though I was literally the only one using it. That was reversed about a week later and the person who called to get me banned from using it was my neighbor who had 1 car and didn’t use it himself so we all knew it was against me. They have also attacked other people as well. I get along with my neighbors and no one can stand these two.
He could always "Accidentally" get mowed down by somebody's car and spend the rest of his miserable life paralyzed in bed.
There are 2 things that are true, one cannot see the dark, and houses are not fire proof....or so I was told!

I had a neighbor who use to think my property was his so I just let him cut the grass for three weeks out of four then I would do it once, he was just cutting my grass for me for free because when he sold his house the survey showed it was my land.

People arguing over fences is the most petty and childish thing i can possibly imagine. Especially when youre prepared to kill someone over it.
A reasonable adult would come to a compromise. Heres what i would do in that situation. I would suggest that as the fence is right on the property line, lets take joint ownership. The fence gets fixed and it costs us both half as much if we split if 50/50. Everyone wins. Its really not difficult people.

Funny there were neighbors across the street the left one used to have tall evergreen trees, they sold it to "playhouse 90" new neighbor tore all the trees down and put up major fencing.neighbor on the right said lefts fencing had gone into their yard which they had the town hall come out and yep fence is in right yard so left had to tear all the fencing down.then one day lefts original owner pulled up on the street with an unbelievable face what the new neighbor did

The cops didn’t have nothing on him until he basically told on his self on their body cameras. He admitted to his crime. That gave them enough evidence to arrest him.

Okay speaking to the intoxicated lady I have had crappy manipulative neighbors and I feel for her. Sometimes you have just had enough. People know just what buttons to push. She may have been guilty but I would put money on her being the honest one and the neighbors being the manipulators and trouble making starters. I work at night and I have had neighbors that have almost pushed me to similar limits. Shame on the cops. She did not deserve 30 days.
It's not my neighbors, it's my sister, who came into my home, knowing I was suffering from PTSD from when my children were kidnapped several years ago.
I thought she was there to help me, as I'm in tears, trying to make her understand what I was trying to say, until I heard her friend in my house downstairs, saying to call 911, accusing me of threatening s u i c i d e.
I tell you I have never gone from heartbroken, to realizing betrayal so fast in my life as I watched my sister unlock her phone to start dialing 9-1...
I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that I've never heard such an angry voice in my life, telling her to get out of my house, and I know her phone fell out of her hand as I push past her in my hallway to look down my stairs to see her friend standing in my doorway, with a foot inside my house, saying she'd call instead because she "heard me."
I've never in my life been s u i c i d i a l. Ever. And that woman had the nerve to shake her phone at me and tell me it was "all on recording, B***h!"
I stomped downstairs, shouting at her she was lying, I had it on recording, too, (cameras are amazing.) And told her to get the F out of my house. That woman had the nerve to stand there until I was nose to nose with her. By that time, my sister was outside, and this woman's foot was outside my entry, but she stood there, and I literally screamed it in the angriest voice I've ever heard come out of me, 4 inches from her face.
Then I slammed the door right in her face.
Oh, then I opened the door and told them both never to come back.
I realized that my sister was trying to get me committed. She was trying to get both of my children to go to her house, voluntarily or against their will. She told my 14yo to call 911 and tell them I was scaring her and holding her against her will.
I didn't know everything she was doing and saying until it was too late, and she had convinced my 18yo to move in with her, with promises of no household chores, and other family responsibilities.
It's Fd up how people can push your buttons, and all I could imagine is that first woman was beyond her point of being able to cope.
She may have been able to handle it better if she hadn't been drinking, but there's no way she deserved 30 days. She needed to be left alone, or sent to therapy.

That is a mixture of alcohol, heat and not having enough to do but sit on one’s backside and drink some more, get irritated and fight some more. Very fixated. Awful. I know these types of neighbourhoods and it is best keeping completely to one’s self. Be polite, say hello and leave it at that. Never take a gift from anyone because the minute you do you may owe tribute to a nasty grasping soul. There is no such thing as selflessness and goodwill in these neighbourhoods . There is a reason they don’t have fences. They are poor neighbourhoods not designed for privacy. People are too poor to pay for a fence or these are low cost subsidised housing where people pay rent.

I’m confused. The guy flying his drone over a neighbour’s yard, why is there an investigation going on? It never came up, but what was he doing it for. Guy was 25 years out from being on the registry, so was he looking at children or something or just flying a drone and it upset the neighbours?

How about tell the landlord you're gonna get your own trash service and he or she can take that off your rent in leu of you paying for your own trash and get a bigger receptacle. Geez. My landlord is selling my house, and the barber next door is too lazy to get his own trash service, so my landlord is paying for one big can, and the two of us use it and there's no problems. We know the trash gets picked up on Monday, I maybe throw 2 bags a week in there, and maybe one extra on Sunday if my neighbor filled it up. He uses one of them Oscar the Grouch big metal cans in his kitchen, so he uses yard work size bags and he throws his trash away maybe twice a week and sometimes he over fills it but he gets in there and stomps it down so I have room for my trash. Never a dispute. He takes the can down on Sunday nights, I pull the can back up Monday mornings after trash man picks up garbage. No squabble, no verbal agreement of sorts, just neighbors being neighbors.

Ummm someone did steal her dog....she got it back. I know it's messed up to see someone carrying around a knife but we have no idea what kind of neighborhood that is and she definitely was not accused of threatening anyone with it. But lets see how cops escalate you into a cell 😅
