I was 19 years old the first time I saw the night sky outside of a major city... I could not believe how many stars there were.. I was literally speechless as I stood on the side of an empty road in complete silence for about 30 minutes starring at the sky. It is such a shame that we have lost that perspective... Ever since that day I've been wanting to take a trip somewhere where there is zero light pollution and clear skies for serious star gazing.. I just happened to find myself on the road in central Florida that night going through swamp lands with no civilization in sight on my way back home to Miami Lol..
Monument Valley is a good place to go stargazing
Sigrafix Same
I live in a 100k population city with bigger cities surrounding but idk how i can see over 200 stars in the sky
That just shows you the power of God more than anything else.
Your name please......
Me and my 2 year old son watch this nearly every night. It’s the only thing that settles him down when he’s upset, and for that this video will be a part of me for the rest of my life
Is this view true?
Psalm 19:1 says that the heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies proclaim the work of His hands :) children are also a heritage from the Lord ❤️ God bless you both

I am here crying in 1 star
I remember doing the same with My dad when i was a kid
I would pay anything to be able to see a night sky like that, at least for once...
San Pedro de Atacama, Chile! Spent hours looking at the sky
Sky is free to see just look around
Mahek Tailor lmaoo
it's really very beautiful
@Nemo-Nova hey did experience too see a beautiful night sky
A Renaissance Man is every sense of the word. A very creative and innovative voice for our times! Stunning visuals and composition!!!
i grew up in a place where i could see night skies like this, now i live in the city and i truly miss the view. in the city night feels like black box
All I've ever known
IKR. I love going to the forest at night or a plain. And just look up
Is this view true?
I live on the edge of a city in a foresty place, half the sky is filled with stars and the other half is filled with city lights lol
Nowhere near this tho, I can see the galaxy some days depending on the weather, but it's barely visible. It's already enough to have me staring at it for half an hour lol
Same, the one thing I miss about living in small town Missouri, driving down a dirt road on the back of the trucks armed with mosquito spray and watching the meteor showers with absolutely zero light pollution...
No words 😮breathtaking ❤❤❤
When I first saw pictures like this I thought they were fake. I’m 16 now and I’m just realizing they’re real. I live in NYC so I don’t see this ever. When I first saw a sky like this, it was when I my went to parents home country and stayed there for a month. We came back to New York about a week ago. I saw so surprised looking at the night sky and I couldn’t stop staring at how beautiful it was. Especially how there looked like there was a galaxy in the middle of the sky sprinkled with a thousand stars. Even the moon was like 5 times bigger than it was in New York and it was really yellow too. Sorry if this sounds stupid but I was afraid of it, it looked so surreal, something out of a dream. I looked at for about an hour and a half, sometimes looking at the moon, the stars, the galaxy looking thing, or all of it together. I feel so weirded out that the sky looks so clear and different in some places on the planet. I honestly thought at first I was on a different planet when I saw it. My mom tried telling me how different and how beautiful it was from her home but I brushed it off as an exaggeration.
when you grow up, you need to spend the night in nature. not for party but to respect nature. and it will be remembered throughout your life
*I used translator
@@cahayarizqirizqi7518 The translator worked perfect!
If i ever see sky like this, my reaction will be same as you!
Oh my!
How great! I imagined it so well, I imagine too your feeling seeing all that greatness... Where I live this is utopic :'( never seen galaxies or a surreal moon as you did. Once I only saw what we call "stars rain" was awesome..
Wow dude! Stunning cinematography. Wow.
I grew up out in the country and this brings it back.
Thank you again sir.
Whenever I see clear night full of infinite stars, tears come outta nowhere everytime.... I just remain speechless and just stare at the sky like a baby.... Another reason to love Nigel ❤
Breathtaking
One of the most beautiful things that I have ever seem, the soundtrack is unbelievable as well! And it is from 2014, I am in 2022...how crazy!

Yes it's so good, I've been watching this video since 2016. I still watch it sometimes alone at 3am on my tv.
I LOVE TO COME HERE TO WATCH THIS ,....AND ESCAPE INTO THE WONDER, WHILE THE MUSIC LITERALLY REPAIRS OLD WOUNDS. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFULLY PUT TOGETHER ONE OF A KIND TREASURE... A PIECE OF ART AND MAGIC....
I was 17 in the keys in the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Honduras with my first love and ILL NEVER FORGET HOW BEAUTIFUL THE STARS WERE THAT NIGHT
California desert 🌵 is where I 1st saw a sky like this. Absolutely beautiful.
Then I realized how small I am in the universe.
Hopefully when I’m not this earth anymore I will still be able to see the magnificent universe.
What an absolute MASTERPIECE! Truly my favorite channel, and I always get excited when I see another upload. Thanks for making my day.

Already got it a while back, but I think I'll have to watch it again. haha

Watching stars while laying down on the ground at night is such an other worldly experience that makes you feel so many things.
Sir. Your music is simply breath taking. I get goosebumps listening to this.
beautiful shots, just unbelievable
Nigel Stanford is a genius! Cymatic, cinamatic, classic, chromatic genius! Thank you!
Sorry, I didn't realize this is Nigels music! Absolutely amazing, powerful!
Seeing the sky light up with moonlight with all the stars still in the background is just so magical
I have seen the night sky like this once: Trona California
Absolutely breathtaking
drums matches with strings perfectly... one of the best
I can’t believe it’s 2020 and I’m just discovering this channel. I’ve really missed out. This channel has some of the best content on all of youtube.

impressionnant, sublime. aucune empreinte humaine. seulement l'empreinte du cosmos. intemporel. immuable. retour dans le passé de l'Antiquité.
et une musique totalement appropriée qui soulève, qui élève.
magnifique.
Just saw the movie 4 days ago, and it totally blew my mind. This was my favourite piece of music. Please never stop doing these.
I was so mesmerised by this I forgot to breathe.
Omg same!
Your music is absolutely incredible. I was waiting nearly ten years for someone to do something with solfeggio frequencies, so glad I found you. Thank you, your work will inspire so many...
Wow! Awesomely beautiful!
Awe, to the Creator of such a majestic sky, land and sea for the pleasure of his children. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video with the viewer. My mind wondered on dark shapes before the light revealed the beauty of their secrets... and yes, angels were present! Your music was stunning ...! 💛
It was after watching this gorgeous video for the hundredth time that I began experimenting with night/timelapse for the first time.
GoPro Hero 10 and Insta360 One R 1" can't achieve this level of detail, so the cost for the equipment used must be at least as equal or higher than that of a medium-category car (at least 4 zeroes behind the number), and the skill of the individuals involved into shooting and editing it speaks for itself!
As for Nigel Stanford, his composing/musical skills are at a completely different level than that the vast majority of other artists.
A masterpiece that I'll never be able to even come close to, let alone surpass.
🙏
Absolutely fantastic! The soundtrack is stunning and the photography is sublime. TimeScapes is a masterpiece. Visual & aural genius unfolds before our eyes. Thank you Sir Nigel John Stanford. This is art, not entertainment.
that's beautiful.
You are brilliant. You understand sound & visuals & the connection they have to our universe. Fully of majesty. Nothing but respect. Would love to see you in a live environment. Truly gifted being used for the good of all who partake.
Stunning!!
The guitar seems to give some edginess and contrast to the soft flow of the piece but used thoughtfully throughout without overpowering the rest of the music. Love this music!
I am sooooo addicted to all Nigel's music .... heeeeeeeeelpppppp😍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
This is my favorite part of TimesScapes and it's because of the music. The timelapse is spectacular but the music brings it home. Outstanding work Nigel
Amazing music video. Thank you very much, Nigel John Stanford musician. 🌹💖🌹💖🌹💖🌹💖
It’s even more terrifying when you realize that all of those stars are all in our galaxy, and that part of the galaxy we see is barely all of it, and that there are more galaxies out there than the stars we can see.
It's not terrifying it is interesting to know that.
It actually brings me a lot of comfort knowing that not everything here I so big
What is more terrifying is that our universe is expanding, so millions of years from now, we will never be able to see them again. As it expands faster than light.
all those stars are just above our heads not in a galaxy.
@@mynamemylastname7179 no, those are just stars that "were" brighter or closer to us. Some of them may be outside of a galaxy, but the majority of them are in one.
That guitar tone
xD
Matthew Loupe it’s incredible isn’t it? 🙌🏻💟
Sounds like a Les Paul for sure
I thought the same
But I think that Ambient or Melodic Dubstep would be better than this one
My old man used to take time lapsed 35 mm photos of the stars. They were Amazing.
Nigel, you and Tom absolutely knocked it out of the park with TimeScapes. Incredible score, with amazing footage just really jaw dropping stuff. That score gives me goosebumps everytime, such a powerful and moving piece. Love what you do... keep up the great work!!

This blows me away. With this sound system and 4K I'm there. Thank you so much.
This is astonishingly good. Why has it taken 3 years before I've seen this?!
masterpiece, music and video
Never realised that constellation of stars like these exist till I saw them, such wonders🌹
After 2 years searching I found this heavenly work
I can't imagine how beautiful the earth was before humans came
It would have had no-one to appreciate its beauty though. The problem is too many people are glued to their phones and computers and care too much about money only
@@hihosh1 Totally agree and if everyone had their lights shut off we would see the solar system clearly.

I know I'm a bit late here but this is what I call a world without no borders, no boundaries and the mind riding in the unfathomable universe that exists before our eyes
Thats what im talking about 👍 someone thinking like me weird
I saw this in New Zealand when I visited. I could not believe my eyes for the beauty of it. I couldn't get enough.
I live near the equator, and in a city so I never see this.

Beautiful! Thanks!
It’s kind of sad that many people have never seen the Milky Way before.
yes , but The really sad thing is that who created the stars and every thing around us, humans don't worship him as well as he would like. Read about the correct religion, Islam

No thanks, I’m Catholic.
@@aoode3 Doesn't Islam deny Christ and say he was just another prophet which is clearly false because Christ proved his divinity through the resurrection which proved he and he alone has power over death.

When I was very young , all my family members used to sleep in front our house . I used to gaze at the beautiful sky . There were innumerable stars and the sky looks crystal clear . I was amazed to see the shining 🌟 stars . I used to count the stars , and sometimes got confusion in counting countless stars . I used to fall asleep in counting stars . Even now , my mind and soul craves to touch the sky and to live there enjoying the celestial beauty of the sky . Now , children of present times can not enjoy such devine experience . Now , stars never appear and the sky looks not so beautiful as of in olden days because of emissions . Infact , we r destroying this wonderful universe which God had created for us . I liked this picture of Crystal Sky . Thanks to the Austro shooters .
My Mom grew up in a small town where those views where like a daily routine and now, years later you can barely see the milkyways outlines....
Thanks to the author for magnificent video, for the shown power and greatness the coming day, for inexpressible beauty of the night star sky, for the picked-up music in harmony with the nature.
