I love these conversations with both of y’all. I have to watch them a couple of times and revisit them as I learn more about guitar/music theory. But I feel like there’s a lot that I can always pick up each time a revisit these conversations.
I understand what you were saying in this video, but Im not good enough to put it in practice. I need to get more comfortable with all my inversions and triads before I can apply these things better.
Never heard of a "Drop 2" voicing. Just googled it and my head hurts, but it makes sense and explains something that left me wondering in the past. Filled a gap in my knowledge. Learned something, thank you! Also I'll definitely be experimenting with more unique voicings in my bands music, that just inspired something in me!
Thats great to hear this kind of conversation! Joseph your guitar 🥵🥶 looks awesome!

This is very good
What is the "wall of sound" thing Joseph was on about at 10:49 in the video? It sounds really cool and I would like to know what it's from.
I'm sure he simply means a busy production, a part with high energy and a dense arrangement.
Stay out of my register guy
no one should ever give joseph a camera and a chance to flex his ego. you aint good bruh
