Matt was already at a ridiculous mastery of the craft five years ago. I never thought it could have been possible to improve from there, but his progress just surpasses all expectation. It's crazy
everytime i watch Matt, feels like with every new song he comes out with some new crazy more complex and hard stuff to play, blows my mind

That might have been the most mind blowing performance I have ever witnessed. The drum and guitar work being played is seriously at the highest possible tier. I couldn't imagine seeing the sheet music/tabs for this insanity!!
In the past 4-5 years, they could’ve been a discussion about who was the best drummer on earth. But now, no doubt it, Garstka is the one. I mean, pretty sure he surpassed Donati’s level of playing. It’s just ridiculous.
That's not fair to Virgil nor Matt. Especially considering Virgil is 65 years old and composes all parts of his albums, and Matt is 35.
I don't even wish I was that good at drums, I just wish I had the drive and determination to get that good. Thanks, Matt!. Always doing it so I don't have to! 😬
