    It is difficult to understand: why these projects are collapsing? Because of people managing these projects are pocketing the money and the authorities are not capable of check and balance these projects?!

    Instead of agreeing to bad terms on the Solar project with UAE, why doesn't the government reach out to Western Investors? I am sure Armenians abroad would want to invest in such a project.

      Yes and no. Since 1991, a lot of diasporans have been burned trying to invest in what remains of Armenia. So much so, its considered a fools errand at this point. Before any more "projects", how about establishing a non-partisan, non-church or other currupt organization affeliated organization that establishes 100% transparency with the funds. Lets see where the money goes. Lets try to create something Armenians are great at on a local level, but the worst on a "National" level... charity and investment.

      @@Mr-ed5ep It is not 1991 and green technology is everywhere now. For energy independence it is a no brainer to have such a thing. They should reach out to the community. Such projects will pay for itself.

    The goverment should start a bond fund. Where individual investers buy prefered shares in the fund
