I wouldn't go the Amazon route for a wedding dress, but definitely like an Etsy where you can actually speak to the designer and they can do custom work and the reviews aren't being paid for.

@@debbiesmith9691 That's amazing and a great savings for you. I've found many great designers and artists on Etsy who are just as great or better than commercially known designers. I also love supporting small businesses who care deeply about their craft and customer satisfaction.

Congrats!! I got engaged in July and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do for the wedding in October. It's going to be an elopement/ courthouse type thing but where we want to do it and pictures after are what we're struggling with at the moment

I didn't buy my dress from Amazon but I did take a chance on a $30 veil. SO worth it!! Don't spend 100s of dollars on one at the bridal store. Try amazon first !

Those dresses 100% look low quality. Whereas they are not as poorly made as something from wish, the lace is tablecloth lace which makes them look like giant dusty doilies. Also, the one on Joyce did not complement her beautiful figure at all. Try ebay or etsy. You can find dresses with tags that are from designers and not used. I'm selling my unused bridesmaid dress there from Needle and Thread at like half the price. And the original price was under 500 to begin with.

You won’t be pulling up a strapless dress if it fits well enough! Coming from a large busted gal, I had straps on my grad dress for this reason. However, my wedding dress was altered well enough that it held me up and in place all night!

I got my wedding dress on Amazon for $150, which is still insanely inexpensive for a wedding dress. I keep seeing everyone try on the same handful of cheap dresses. I tried on and returned a couple of them. They were not good. I raised my budget a little but and was very pleased.

I got my wedding dress from Amazon
The first woman looked ridiculous in her dress, she should have looked for something with a fuller skirt to cover the fat bulges, or lost weight or invested in the Spanx. I ordered my wedding dress via online and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. It had hand-sewn pearls and sequins on the bodice and tulle skirt with a satin trimmed cathedral train. It was not much different than a designer dress that I admired but I only paid around $150 for it instead of thousands for the designer dress. Look around for legitimate online wedding dress companies and order well in advance. Remember you'll only wear the dress once so why pay thousands of dollars on your wedding gown. With the savings, you can buy a formal and comfortable cocktail-type dress for your "after 6" reception or save your money for a down payment on your first house. My total wedding cost for 120 guests with bar, sit-down meal, cake, and appetizers was under $2000. It was at a country club on the lake. I had friends video take pictures at my wedding. I had bought photo editing software for my photos and they came out professional looking. I even bought a photographer's wedding albums online including the parents photo albums, so everything was professional looking. I spent $80 for a Walmart Wedding cake that was beautiful and delicious. My linen invitations were ordered online which included the invitation matching seating cards, direction cards, RSVP cards, save the date cards, thank you cards, and favor tags that with a promo code, were half off. Remember the more you spend on your wedding, the more likely you'll get divorced.

Great video. One tip though look at the lens not yourself in the viewfinder. It’s weird. Maybe I’m picky but I feel like if you are doing RUclips videos chatting to a camera that it’s just a given to look at the lens not yourself. ( mostly talking about the gal with short dark hair)
