- Here is our take on what our friends at Speedhunters once described as "The Event of Events" in the automotive world. With visitors from Russia, USA, Australia, Japan, Italy, UK, Estonia and more, Gatebil has become an international phenomenon.
Each year, 50.000+ people visit Rudskogen Motorpark this weekend to experience amazing cars, spectacular drifting and of course, party hard. This year MovieBird decided to put our equipment to the test and brought some of our toys to capture the action. In a collaborative effort with Kamera Utleien, Grip Teknikk, Noroff and Gatebil, we bring you the best of Gatebil Rudskogen July 2014.

As an active Australian motor racing videographer & ex-pro cameraman & film editor I am just gob smacked by this video, which is by FAR the best drift vid I've ever seen in my 65 years. LOVE, love the drifting camera rig guys. How inventive of you. When I bolted long arms onto my race cars to get GoPro footage the race organisers here outlawed them from then on. At other races I couldn't even get a boom mounted on a stationary car trackside - so good on these drift meeters for embracing what you needed to do to capture these incredible pictures. World class guys. Well done! Can't wait for your next film.

Yes, we understand.. But the problem is highspeed clips, the engine sound would sound really wired in slow-motion.

I've seen the Pursuit Systems Porsche Cayenne here in the States in person and mobile cranes/jibs are the best way to get the most amazing action shots.

the entire part of 049 to 1:13 i never seems something like that! Never! I feel really like driving the car.. every slow camera, see the front wheel work. UFF never seems something like, this is sick! Definitly amazing! Only like more if you add some engine sounds!
