3:43: Cool reference to "Shining". And, yes, this is appropriate as "Shining" was probably the 1st horror movie dealing with liminal spaces and can therefore be regarded as a kind of predecessor of the backrooms scenario.

Both Kubrick’s “The Shining” and especially the novel “House of Leaves”. The latter of which could easily share the same universe with the Backrooms.
How is it
The shot at 2:19 is so cool. The idea of a huge open space like that is so underused in Backrooms videos.
Really loved this. One of the best interpretations of the back rooms. The instability in location really adds a surreal and creepy vibe as does the ambient “soundtrack”.

Wow! What a master play with the bathrooms scene! Amazing!! I don't know who's idea was it to play ambiguity in the viewers' point of reference, but by positioning in the middle, looking away, then cutting in the door opening scene without showing which one was selected, makes the first-person point-of-view entering the bathroom relatable and acceptable to both. Good play... good play!
Loved seeing the bathroom from the Overlook in The Shining. Props for that and of course the whole vid. Very good. 👌

I thought you did an excellent job creating this video. After I found this one, I viewed the others in your play list, and they are wonderful! It's one of a kind, really, with the hole in the wall that randomly changes venues, and how the person involved could just no-clip so quickly into another zone. Very creative and I liked the bizarrness of each of the zones.

The blue channel is considered a class dead zone. One of the most dangerous backrooms levels.
Really love your take on the Backrooms liminal. Very immersive and really feels like watching a journey through a hyper dimension, where things look familiar but are made out of something intangible. It is so unsettling. Keep up the great work Berkay, I am really impressed.

I had "shining" vibes from the beginning when I saw the red hallway and the chandeliers and lo and behold, you actually have the restroom from "the shining"! Great setup!

Such vibrant rich crisp color like I’ve not seen and this is an older one so I’m guessing you’ve morphed several times since this mindblower, my favorite scene when he looks up at the rich red segmented ceiling that doesn’t stop..mesmerizing 😮
Nice work. It seems like this is what your experience would be if you stumbled on a newer, less stable, area in the backrooms. Come to think of it, that would be a reason to put a forward research base there.

Hey for some reason I watched the 0 level kinda fake but when you jumped to the dark place I looked so real that I was wondering if that part of the video was a real place and you just filmed it, turned to be CGI too 🤯 the details of the camera lents with some dust or stain reacting to light was impressive, great job

2:19 comes close to this dream-state, indescribable, awful feeling of everything being the wrong scale of space and time. Everything is too far away, moving too fast and too slow at the same time, and unfathomably large, and wrapped in layers of exponential growth of scale. If you are in a dream, it is your environment, on the ground, in the air, or in space. If you are awake, it is something on your desk, and even your limbs, your face. When you move your hand to the desk, it feels like it is the size of a space nebula, and it goes frighteningly fast, but through vast distances, so slow, and hence out of your control. This is not drug-induced. It is a state of mind with a wrong sense of scale and time. It is fascinating and awful at once. And it comes and goes. I have not had or dreamt it in a long while, but it has happened. I cannot describe it properly. I am not a psychology expert, but I would like to know if there is a term for this phenomenon. Or, if other people have experienced something like this state as well.
Update: Just found out that the feeling I described is a real thing and has a name. It is called "Alice in Wonderland syndrome".
