I got a pair 3 weeks ago. And love them so much! I work in a kitchen 8-12 hours a day 5-6 days a week. Soon to be 6-10 day work weeks. They're not just boots. They're reliable equipment to get the job done.
If anyone is wondering if JK Boots are the real deal or maybe sitting on the fence in regards to buying a pair I can tell you my experience has been a golden one. I have 3 pairs of their fire inlanders and each pair is consistent, tough, comfortable, and confidence inspiring. If you find yourself in a situation that requires you to have strong footwear JK Boots will 100% do the job for you. I really can’t recommend them enough. Also, it’s important to mention that their wait times are not insanely long like some of the other boot makers making similar boots. I bought my first pair at their Tempe, Az store and ordered my 2nd pair the same day while at the store. Then a couple months later ordered my 3rd pair online. I only had to wait 3 weeks for them to arrive, which is lightning fast in the PNW boot world. I love my boots from JK and if you get a pair you’ll love them too. Say goodbye to $50-$300 boots that last only 8-12 months and get yourself a pair that will far outlast anything you’ve ever owned. Anyway, that’s my 2 cents. Best of luck!
I just ordered my boots from the exact same store just 2 weeks ago. JK is sending me emails weekly letting me know the step in which my boots are being crafted. I can’t wait for my boots to slide on my feet. Sounds like I will be ordering the same pair in black. I got brown for my first pair. I will be using them up on my mountain property here in AZ felling Ponderosa pines and climbing on steep mountain ridges and descending deep in old gold mine shafts.
@@markp.9707 very cool. You’ll love the boots. You’re getting special treatment, too, cause I don’t remember receiving update emails from them during the build process. Hopefully, JK will at some point have more leathers to work with. I ended up getting a pair of Whites Rambler boot in cinnamon waxed leather. The Whites are awesome, too, but their wait list is super long. I believe I waited 19 weeks, around 5 months. Anyway, enjoy your boots. JK’s are awesome.
@@brandonin_ny thanks Brandon!!!
@@brandonin_ny Just a reminder that Whites was bought by a Japanese company in 2014, and although they still make good boots, that was a factor in buying the JKs
@@drewpknutz1410 yes, I know Whites is no longer an American company.
3hrs into my first pair of Super Dutys so far... Couldn't be happier! These are hands down the best pair of boots I've ever seen. No sore spots after about 5000 steps so far today. They really mean it when they say no break in! If anyone's on the fence about ordering a pair, do it! You will not regret your decision :)
Enjoyed the video and the boots with their colors rough out and smooth combinations look great. I don’t do construction anymore but will always be a boot guy with a strong appreciation for extremely well made boots 🥾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I just got my super duty boots and I absolutely love them they have to be the best boots I have ever had
Love them. Recently purchased the black and brown super duty’s while visiting arizona. They didn’t have my size in brown so having those made while walked out with black. Got my friend to get the forefronts. We are from philly. Love your story!
These are beatiful, as soon as I'm done with my studies I would totally buy one of these beauties
I've walked well over 10,000 steps a day in these boots right out of the box for almost 2 weeks now. Climbing in and out of equipment. Not 1 issue with them. I highly recommend this boot. I got the Superduty RO Bison.
I have a pair of this Superduty boot. Very well made!
Those boots !!
I am in love 😍
Just ordered my pair 2 weeks ago now only got 6 weeks to go until they slide on my feet!!! I can’t wait…
Just ordered a pair today! Cranked to get them
Damn, these look so nice. I really want a pair in mocha with a matching leather belt, that would be perfect. The only thing is my feet are a little oddly shaped, because I have a medium high arch but a flat and low instep (the top of the foot). I also have a pretty narrow heel and pretty wide-spread toes, so that doesn't make sense either. Makes it hard to find good boots. But I have a good feeling about these. I think if I saved up and got you guys on the phone to discuss options you will be able to help me find what fits perfectly.
I would call them and get a fit sheet they are definitely worth the money
If you send them the measurements on a fit sheet they’ll make you custom boots, each foot having its own custom sized boot.
Visit a store. They don’t have many but it’s worth it. They will have a version that fits your “oddly” shaped foot.
Is smooth out good if you’re using them more as a hiking/hard use trekking boot?
I'm waiting for my Superduty black with composite toe can't wait till they arrive, I'm in BC Canada, Viberg no longer makes work boots. I'm currently wearing a pair of Dayton boots they are not what they used to be I didn't know that until I got them to find out they have traditional upper construction the soles on the other hand..... They have absolutely no arch support after a day of work I want to take them off. Once you've worn hand made boots with arch support you never go back. My new Superduty's can't arrive soon enough.
I got steel toe in mine.
@@markp.9707 I ordered instock boots, I have wide feet 3E to 4E, the composite toe does make the boot look a little more bulky but it Is sure nice having some width in the toe box.
Probably a silly question, Do you guys resole your boots as well. I work as a Lettercarrier and burn though soles in 6 months. I usually spend 250-300 on a pair (I usually toss them out when the insole reaches the ground). This looks like a better option.
My feet are 28.2 cm. Can you help me out with the sizing? I live in Europe so it’s kind of tricky to return them if I get the wrong size
How's the arch in these? I need an arch - not a mamby pamby little thing, either - a real arch.
Is the rough out any more susceptible to absorbing water?
I feel the smooth side wouldn't absorb as easily as the smooth.
No, I've had mine for 6 years now and wondered about that in the beginning too. The first month I had them I had to fix burst water main and was up to the top of the boot in mud and stayed cozy and dry. Keep them greased and they are always dry as a bone.
How does the Superduty differ from the Fire Inlander? Both seem to be NFPA rated with the stitching & sole.
Hey Ulises,
They are the same boot. The SuperDuty was such a great marriage between all of the highest quality and most durable designs that we thought it would be a perfect fit for our loyal wildland firefighter customers too!
Can you order these boots with a larger eye at the top.
Double sole?
What’s the last I can’t find anywhere what it is
I’m looking at the superduty or the superduty s. But torn between the Black or the Redwood color with honey soles
Get the normal super duty and which ever color you get, get the honey soles. I personally think brown and honey is easily the best combo
@@KimballPrecisionRifles I ordered the brown version. They are making it now
Hey Tim! Can you cut one of your boots in half so we can see the inside?
This has already been done, there is a video somewhere on this channel which shows this, i know because i screen captured the image of the boot.
Can I get the boots in an all roughout with a moderate arch in 8 " ?
Hey Kartik,
You bet. We can do any customization options you want as long as you select the "Custom Superduty" option on our website, or you can give us a call and have us set the order up for you, no problem.
at 2:01 what is 12 iron weight ?
Do these have shanks for climbing in gaffs.
That's a great question William,
The SuperDuty is an all leather product, so we do not include a steel-shank, and instead use a high-performance stacked leather design. We offer a boot specifically for climbing that does include a steel shank, and it is called the Climber. You can find both boots on our website!
@@jkbootsusa thank you.
Have my Harvesters about 2 months. Waiting on my Superduty(s) to come in. Hope all this video making is not cutting into production time. Just kidding.
I'd like to get a pair of PNW boots but I'm worried about water damage. I'm a commercial / light industry plumber and I would like a pair that I feel comfortable wearing without feeling like I need to change into rubber boots all the time. Right now I have 3yo redwing logger boots and they're okay but I'd really like a nice handmade leather boot.
If these boots aren't good for that application does JK sell boots that are?
There is no leather boot that is designed for being soaked constantly. That’s not good for the leather. You could obviously soak them in sno seal, but to much of that stuff wouldn’t be good for the leather either.
I'll echo what Brycekimball3771 said. My first month in my JKs I was digging up and repairing 10" irrigation mains and valves, almost up to the top of the boot in mud. I stayed dry all day. I Go back and forth between my Wesco calks and the Jks logging and farming in the winter, and wet tall grass during the summer changing irrigation, and am completely happy with them in the mud and cow shit.
Are they waterproof??
Ami me gustaría una superduty pero 6 pulgadas
