      Only the Lag is offered in Lefty. Honestly, I hadn’t bothered to look because historically no training aids have been made in LH. I will give the lag a closer look.

      I have the lag shot, and while I am still bad at golf, I think it did help me as a complete beginner to get the right feel for sequencing. I think it's a great aid for those that are truly new to the game to get a good feel for tempo, sequencing, and generating lag, but it does require a lot of practice.

      I’ve been using the lag shot 7 iron the last month or so and it’s definitely helped with my tempo. Seeing your positivity on the Gabe trainer, I’m going to do more research and might pick one up.👍🏼

    I have the Lag Shot and love it, use it for warm ups and getting my initial feel. It really helped my tempo and transition. Also if you don't release the club properly it's never going straight. Plus the extra weight helps build up my swing speed.
    I've never heard of the Gabe Golf club, but I'm certainly going to look into it since it seems easier to carry when going to the course!

    Thanks for the review. I bought the Straight Stick for my son's who are starting to get interested in golf. I figured it would get them to learn where the bottom of their swing is easier. They both are impatient as hell too so I figured this would be quicker than beating balls, like I did.

    Have the lag shot in my bag but I rarely hit balls with it. Mostly use it as a warm up pre round. Will have to look at the Gabe Golf device. Thx!

      The lag shot works really well if you have the patience to use it properly. When you 1st begin, everything will be a slice or fade because of the flexibility of the shaft. If you're just a little to fast from the top, you'll never get the face square at impact so it's great for rhythm & tempo. The only thing that bothers me is the weight so I'd recommend not hitting full shots until you get used to the extra weight as you might be able to injure yourself. Overall, I'd say it's a useful product even for better players who might occasionally get out of sync.

    On my side, I striked the ball irregularly, I bought the lag shot since 3 years by now. Love it. what I have learned is when you swing, at the top of your swing, you count 1 than you go back to the ball. It helps understanding the tempo. I had a lot of misery and sometimes I still struggle with this. As an ex-hockey player, the slapshot is pretty close to certain things in the motion of the golf swing. But you don't need to have a good tempo with it. I need to wait for the club a bit more with my body, I have a tendencie to overturn slightly before impact, so it makes me snap hook. If my bad habit come back on a par 3 for example, this is almost a bogey and + every time. If I do like I have the lagshot in my hands, I wait for the club and this is almost a GIR each times... Well, I don't know for the other 2 golf aid, but for me LAGSHOT all the way. I've heard that you can gain distance also with it, but for now I'm not into this type of practice, just trying everytime I use to improve my tempo as much as I can with it is already a good challenge..

      I’ve read some reviews and talked to a couple of people about the Straight Stick. There are examples of some that click regardless of how they are swung and some that won’t click if Bryson swung it. So I’m guessing there is no Quality Control on the finished product.

    • @andrewjensengolf
      @andrewjensengolf  Год назад +3

      would have to disagree with you there... the molded grip wouldn't do anything for sequencing, rhythm, loading, etc... and that's what most all golfers find their faults stem from

    • @andrewjensengolf
      @andrewjensengolf  Год назад +1

      @@andrewjensengolf you’re definitely wrong. Do a little research and you’ll see the Medicus (hinged club) was meant to be used to hit golf balls. Do some google searches or watch their promo videos. The Momentus weighted club was not meant to hit golf balls although I had a few friends that did it regularly (including the heavier David Duval edition) however, the Momentus would eventually bend due to the force or repeated impact.

      2. Look at the affiliate link in the description of the videos praising the product (they make money on sales through the video)
      3. Get the product yourself and form your own opinion.
