So many memories with the OG Xbox! Halo LAN party with multiple Xboxes am TVs. Tony Hawk 4 could be played in 720p with component cables. Gun is a gem on Xbox too. Keep it up guys!
LAN Parties are so much fun! We kinda fell behind on doing them but we still to this day that do them! We always wonder if theres other ones going on besides ours! Cheers!
Original Xbox, although lacking the 3rd party support that Sony enjoyed, has dozens of fantastic games, from popular franchises to hidden gems and everything in between. More often than not if there was a game that was on both the Xbox AND the PS2, the best version was the one on Xbox. For its time it was a beast of a machine. I used to have a modded Xbox with a 300gb HD (which was HUGE at the time), and I had close to 100 Xbox games installed, as well as several emulators; NES, SNES, Genesis, MAME, etc. It was an awesome console for MAME, as it had 4 controller ports for games like TMNT, X-Men, the Simpsons and more! It also had enough RAM onboard to boot up some of the more modern arcade games such as the later Street Fighter iterations like Marvel vs. Capcom, Street Fighter 3, and other hardware-pushing games like the 2 D&D games (Shadow Over Mystara and Tower of Doom). I still love some of those early sandbox games like GTA 3: Vice City (by far my favorite in the series) and a game that was fantastic but kinda just fizzled out after the sequel was panned, Mercenaries. You could play as goddamn Han Solo AND Indiana Jones, for crying out loud! Although the Gamecube had the best Star Wars flight sim in Star Wars Rogue Squadron II, the Xbox did have a couple SW flight sims that were pretty fun. It also had another arcade flight sim that was outstanding, and I don't know why it never had a sequel...Crimson Skies. It's such a fun game, and the era in which it takes place and its overall aesthetic are just awesome. It doesn't have nearly the customization options that its PC counterpart enjoys, but it's still one of the best Xbox games that STILL a lot of people don't talk about when doing a "Top Meh" for the console.
I really like the "confessional" style you guys have been incorporating in some of the vids! Your guys' creativity, chemistry and hard work only keeps paying off.
Awesome list guys! And an awesome shout out to Gen 6! What an amazing time for game design. No day one patches, no microtransactions, and no crap hiding behind a pay wall. Just put the disc in your console and play it with or without an internet connection. Good times.
Some games i still enjoy and played recently.. 1. Gun: amazing western 2. Spikeout: arcade beat em up at its finest and 4 player co-op. 3. Brute Force: squad based 3rd person co-op shooter with sci- fi setting. 4. Outrun 2006 c2c: best arcade racer period. And for last 5. Breakdown: impressive fps with focus on melee combat.
The great thing about 6th gen is that it has such a good range of both arcade and non-arcade titles, there are so many great games to cater for all tastes and most still hold up well today. Completely agree about Halo 2, Burnout 3 and Outrun 2, I love those games, and I'm definitely going to have to track down a copy of Kung-Fu Chaos too now, that looks like great fun. I still play my OG Xbox all the time but Morrowind (GOTY Ed.), Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Panzer Dragoon Orta probably get the most game time.
Burnout Revenge is the superior game IMO...the traffic check mechanic just adds so much chaos (and a little strategy) to the mix. Driving on the interstate IRL hasn't been the same since. 🙂
Ahh yes I'm currently on the OG Xbox right now, missed out on the early years but for me personally it has aged beautifully...in 2022 I can just get in and out on all my fav games and it was ahead of its time with burning CD's on the hard drive.. Spotify? Apple Music? Microsoft was on to something back then! Great video guys! 😎🍻🍺
Love the graphics and overlays on this video. Well done fellas. This gen has a special place in my heart because it was the first gen where the entirety of it was when I had a job and was able to purchase consoles and games myself. Bought the GameCube as a college gift to myself but it was buying the Xbox and subscribing to Xbox live my senior year of HS which I remember most fondly. Tons of hours dropped into Rainbow Six 3 online. What a time. My college grades suffered a bit but well worth it!
Rainbow six on the original Xbox stole my life back in the day. Bought thinking I’ll play this till halo 2 comes out. N I played it more even after halo 2 came out. The maps were iconic like garage , airport n I love warehouse as well. And probably not spell it right. But persido
@@dannyboswell7188 yes! Airport especially! Knew exactly where to go to grab some easy kills. Played it so much, was apart of a clan that used a third party website. Once the cheaters became overly abundant is when I finally had to say goodbye
@@theunfungamer7263 You remember those glitches everybody would do. The lean or slow walking. Whatever they called it lol. I remember in garage everybody would take turns at that long hall way and see who could lean walk glitch better. N people leaning thru walls lol. On warehouse if timed right you could lean thru a wall and blow the whole team up with grenades lol. It’s like we just accepted the glitch and played it like it designed on purpose
Absolutely! I'm so happy you kicked off the list with Kung Fu Chaos, as it's one of my brother's and my favourite games on the XBOX! That, and Zapper: One Wicked Cricket, but it really just seems like nobody talks about Kung Fu Chaos, in my experience, and it's a real shame to not see a lot of it around.
Panzer Dragoon Orta is one I still play regularly. Great selection of games, there are way too many good games on the OG Xbox to cover them all in one video. Great video guys, Cheers.
I found PDO to be too difficult to finish. I tried watching let’s plays and reading walk through guides for tips, but I could not get past the first boss.
Nice video. A couple of my favorites that I will go back to are: Enclave and Grabbed by the Ghoulies I think GbtG is completely overlooked and underrated. Its totally Rare and I think people were expecting "more" from Rare when MS bought them, but I love that game. It has such charm. Enclave is a great hack n slash, or rather as I play it a great Arrow n Slash. Love the Archer character.
My faves are: Ghost Recon: Island Thunder, OG Ghost Recon, PGR2, PES 5, Black Hawk Down, Freedom Fighters, Ninja Gaiden, KOTOR, Splinter Cell 1 to 4, Prince of Persia trilogy, NFSU2, Half Life 2, Crimson Skies, Medal of Honor, Men of Valor, DOA, Conflict Global Storm, Black, Halo 1 & 2, Breakdown, Ralliesport Challenge 2, Rainbow six 3, Full Spectrum Warrior, First to fight. Man there so many dope games back in the day.
Generation 6 is very special to me because I got into selling games and having my own game stores right as this generation kicked off! A lot of fond memories for sure!
@@GamingOffTheGrid yeah, I got together with 3 friends and we opened our first store at the beginning of 2001. Prior to that I was at Walmart and helped run the electronics department. So I was there for the midnight launch of Dreamcast and PS2. I ran the launch of GameCube and Xbox at both our own store and Walmart as we all sorta had to keep day jobs that first year and take turns running the store. 😂 We eventually opened over a dozen stores across 5 states. We were big enough at one point to score our own unique preorser bonuses during the PS3 and 360 years. Then 2019 was really hard on us. It was tough to be a game store, just look at how many stores GameStop closed that year. It affected independent shops like us too. Forced us to downsize and before that plan could be seen through the pandemic hit. All of our stores were in high traffic, high rent locations next to Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc. So when you can't open and still gotta pay rent, well... it about killed us. We now have 2 remaining stores (one in VA and one in SC). We aren't what we once were, but we're still open and I also used 2020 to create a record store next to one of them. It's been a fun wild ride these past 22 years though. Now I'm learning how to operate the store with a more mom and pop feel to them. Looking at channels like your own gives me ideas of displays to build and items to showcase. People like yourself are a source of inspiration for other ideas. You guys truly rock! Keep up the great work!
Dude, my sister and I played Fuzion Frenzy all the time growing up and seriously, fuck Zak with a passion. XD His AI was always being as annoying as possible. Whenever he was on your team he was worthless and whenever he wasn't he would just demolish you. Don't think I've ever hated a fictional character more haha. Really great video. The Xbox is still the most underrated console of its generation and that's a real shame. This was Microsoft firing on all cylinders. If they had kept slinging exclusives left and right and still had the best hardware and exclusive support from Sega they really could have been a force to be reckoned with. I doubt we'll ever see a true return to form but thankfully they've been seeing a bit of resurgence lately. Hopefully the upward trend continues because I really don't like modern Sony.
Great list! My OG Xbox is still hooked up, still regularly play Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, Need for Speed Underground, Capcom Vs SNK 2, Mortal Kombat 7 Armageddon, Soul Calibur II, Star Wars Battlefront II, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Darkwatch, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, the Capcom Collections, and Blood Wake. :)
I remember when I saw the OG Xbox after launch I was impressed. Some games caught my eye “Dead or Alive 3”/“Ninja Gaiden”/“Forza motorsport”(The first driving simulator with damage that you can see and feel in the gameplay)
Yeah together with the Sega Dreamcast are my favorite consoles, I'm probably close to that number even though I have multiple copies of the same games for system link sessions 🤘🍻🎮
Great recommendations, I've played most of them and they are great games, the graphics still hold up today, Jet set radio future is one of my favorites, there's a good port of Marvel vs Capcom 2 for Xbox, Dead or alive 3 is visually impressive on Xbox, Shenmue 2 was awesome on Xbox, the Evil Dead game for Xbox was good and if I remember correctly it had the voiceovers and one liners done by Bruce Campbell (Ash) from the original Evil dead films, it plays like a 3rd person hack and slash Resident Evil with hilarious one liners from Mr. Campbell. Check that one out. Keep the top ten reviews coming, I love this series.
Panzer Dragoon Orta is one of the Gen6 Xbox games I still play from time to time, 'cause it's one of my all-time favourite games - 4K/60fps on Series X, thank you so much to team-Xbox!!
Building a team, taking them to the NHL, then hoisting a Midway Cup in NHL Hitz 20-03 is one of the best couch co-op experiences on the Xbox. And if you have 2, 2-player teams that know what they're doing, watch out!
Buffy The Vampire Slayer is a criminally underrated Xbox exclusive. It's weirdly well made especially considering it's a tv show tie in. It had a cross platform follow up game called Chaos Bleeds which is also good but not as refined as it runs on a different engine. Speaking of the engine, it's called the Slayer Engine and it was being used a lot for other games since it's release such as Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Silent Hill: Homecoming and the Killer Instinct reboot
Use to mod these with my son. Still have 3 or 4 of them. Went so far as to add extra ram and recap. They also solved the storage limit issue and 2tb and above aren’t an issue anymore. That came after I left the scene but it’s nice to know I can upgrade to SSD’s once my mechanical drives eventually fail. I like them more for its emulation of classic arcade and home consoles. Coinops/Ninja massive is an awesome collection of older and obscure arcade titles that will never make onto any compilations. I have fun just scrolling through all the titles and trying ones I never got a chance to play as a kid. Fusion Frenzy looks a lot like Power Stone games from the Dreamcast.
Was looking even more forward to this video. Played Fusion Frenzy for the 1st time this year and did single player. Not a lot of fun against AI only. Blitz 20-02 is pretty sweet. Burnout 3 Takedown is challenging, but a ton of fun and is an unfortunate shell of what EA could develop. Still need to play Black and Jet Set Radio Future (got the double pack). May have to look for The Punisher and Kung Fu Chaos. They look like a lot of fun. Looking forward to the Dreamcast list! Cheers 🍻
Great video guys I love the side bar that says when the game came out and how much it is complete in box etc. Would love to see more of that. I’d like to add a couple vexx, pitfall the lost expedition, and spyro a heroes tale… I don’t believe I’ve ever heard you guys talk about these games
(I guess I can understand somewhat, b/c no coop but still): Wuuut, no -Blinx 1/2 (excellent platformers with rewind mechanism) -Munch's Oddysey (Funny 3D platformer, No 3 in the Oddworld series. I bought the Xbox for this game) -Strangers Wrath (Oddworld 4) -Halo 1 (needs no intro) -Grabbed by the Goonies (really pretty sort of twin stick fighting game) -Knights of the Old Republic (needs no intro) -Jade Empire (omg this was a pretty action RPG!) ?
Last year I bought an OG Xbox just to play JSRF again. Was hoping it would be mentioned in this video and sure enough, it was #1. A slept-on all time great.
Great list! Still one of my favorite systems to play and collect for. Armed & Dangerous is a fun 3rd person shooter you guys would like. Gonzo weapons and story. I liked Cold Fear as well on the system. I know that one came out on PS2 but I believe it’s cheaper on Xbox. Grabbed by the Ghoulies is a cool, little game too. And I know your not into RPG’s, but Knights of the Old Republic is one of my favorite games. 🍻
Hey i have an idea, you guys should look up the list of Xbox games that can be played on a 360 and the ones that can be played on One/Series. Afterwards, print out some stickers or paper or something and put it on the disc or somewhere on the case (probably inside so the artwork doesn't have clutter), put these stickers on the games that can be played on 360 and the others on One/Series
Here is my few Xbox games that I own: Test Drive, Eve of Destruction; Lord of the Rings, Fellowship...; Sniper Elite; Black; Crimson Skies; Dungeons & Dragons, Heroes; Gauntlet, Dark Legacy; Playboy Mansion.
Great list! You hit on a lot of the games that have kept my Xbox plugged in to this day. Two I would suggest you check out: Breakdown (the most immersive first person game ever created, if you can push through the janky shooting in the first couple hours you will be rewarded with one of the best single player gaming experiences you will ever in your life experience, if not the best). Serious Sam. It's an Xbox exclusive port of the original PC Serious Sam The First Encounter and The Second Encounter squished together with a nice console exclusive more cartoony and polished coat of paint. The reason to play is is the split-screen vs, which is frenetic, fun, and easy/smooth enough that we used it to "train" people how to control fps games with thumbsticks.
The OG Star Wars Battlefront 2 still feels fresh like a modern shooter. Graphics still hold up and look crisp. If theres anything the remake did right, it gives notice to the old game, and shows you how way better it is. Besides that, the OG Destroy all humans,, same thing. Also Spy vs Spy is a goofy little title with similar vein. Jump thru wacky obstacles to get the valuables in a hidden safe and escape from other enemy agents. Based on the MAD cartoon.
The original Xbox is such a joy to collect for. So many great games and multiplatforms that are best on it. As for game suggestions I loved The Godzilla Destroy all Monsters Melee/Save the Earth games, Mechassault is truly a classic along with Midtown Madness 3. If you guys haven't played it, check out Urban Chaos: Riot Response.
respect for picking some deep cuts in these, and putting the current prices is a nice touch, also I'm not sure what it is but your guys commentary is great, it doesn't have the big youtuber fake hype or cringe shit just 2 bros talking about some games they enjoy. subscribed
Farley and Sandler! The phrases, "Day and night she talks; each word more useless than the next!" and "Give me cancer now, God!" are useful in more situations than you'd expect.
OG Xbox man I love it Crimson Sky's, Phantom Dust, Voodoo Vince, Conker, Blinx, Jade Empire, MechAssault, Amped, Oddworld, Project Gotham Racing, man this whole era was godly to me..
@@GamingOffTheGrid Give it a go, I definitely love it, it's about a Voodoo doll in New Orleans and he hurts himself to beat opponents.. Oddly enough one of the leads on it was Phil Spencer and every game he's been apart of I LOVE, he also worked on Fuzion Frenzy and Viva Pinata.. Definitely give it a shot when you get a chance it's a hidden gem for sure 💯..
As the #1 fan boy of Xbox besides Gabo I can appreciate this vid. Probably my next favorite 6th gen console after the Dreamcast. Speaking of the Dreamcast cast. Gauntlet Legends is the first game in the Dark Legacy series. Plays the same with different stages and layouts. Definitely some of my top favorites of all time. Also since you guys love Hydro Thunder and Artic Thunder check out 4 Wheel Thunder on the Dreamcast. The 3rd game in the Thunder series. It plays just like those previous two only this time you are racing in monster trucks. It's hella fun! Cheers fellas!
Love the 4 player games on the og Xbox! Especially Kung Fu Chaos and Fusion Frenzy. Great picks. Really thought Halo 2 would have made the regular list but an honorable mention is a mention.
As someone who grew up with a dad who had the Xbox original. The ai in fusion frenzy made me and my siblings nearly perfect in the game. Except for the ruthenium game section we sucked at that
@@GamingOffTheGrid yep, that was the first hoop game that started my more addicted to basketball games, forza was the best sims racing game I've ever owned, except I wished it was more of a open world game lol
Harry Potter & the chamber of secrets? Spider-Man 2? Prince of Persia Warrior Within? Cabella’s Deer Hunt 2005 season? Gregg Hasting’s Tournament paintball?
These are just games we have played in 2022! Not a top ten list or favorite games! You have good games listed there just havent played any in 2022! Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid yeah so many good games on the original xbox, some haven’t aged too well but most of them have held the test of time. I only related to a few of these games in your list but there were also a few I definitely need to check out when the budget is right 🤷♂️ if you guys haven’t already, you should do the nintendo 64 next
Thanks heaps for all your content fellas, really enjoyable. Apologies if it's been covered in another comment, but check out Deathrow. It's an arcade sports xbox exclusive that often flies under the radar, but is awesome co op fun!
HELL YEAH awesome video. Its cuz of you guys i started collecting Xbox OG stuff about 3 months ago and im up to 200 games including most of the gems. In fact I got Otogi 2 out for delivery today in the mail! Cant thank you guys enough. I had ignored so much of Gen 6 cuz frankly, alot of the PS2 versions of Gen Six run and look like shit, but on the OG Xbox they run so smooth and look great so, ive been rediscovering that gen and im hooked again!
@@GamingOffTheGrid yeah its been a crazy grind but the good thing is since OG xbox is so cheap i can take advantage of the Local Movie Trading Companies buy 4 games for 9.00 and get them for 30 and then the other retro shop near me has a buy one get one free so i was able to get a ton of commons and mid level games and then the high tier gems are still for the most part under 100 so i was able to get some of those. I think the only OG Xbox games i paid over 100 for were MVC2 and Otogi 2, but im a crazy fool so ill pay if i want it bad enough lol but for the most part ive been able to fill out my library failry affordably just from local shops. Anyway thanks for reading all that lol keep up the great work guys, i watch all your videos!
So many bangers in this one...shout out for mentioning Def Jam: Fight for NY cuz it's such a dope fighter. Gonna try and pick up The Punisher CIB for a good price, thanks for the suggestion.
Fantastic video - there isn't a single game on here I can disagree with. Black is a seriously overlooked game and it's one of my favorites. And 100% agreed on JSRF being in first place!
I’ve been playing og Xbox lately. I found a game called RLH (run like hell) and it’s an interesting horror title and I came across an Xbox port of the original rollercoaster tycoon and it’s pretty sick
Just started watching your videos this week and I have to say great content. I would like to know where did you get those snes/nes replacement cover cases from?
Thanks for the kind words! Hope to see you around in the comment section or our live streams sunday night! For the game cases ruclips.net/video/iLvI-dG5X5Q/видео.html
Was about to capslock type "Wheres Outrun? Wheres Outlaw Golf or Volleyball? Wheres NHL Hitz?" Ya pulled thru in the end so GIMME A HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Roommate had an OG Xbox on release so got to jam some KOTOR, Hunter, Morrowind, Halo back in the day. I had PS2 early on and later got GC on clearance in 2005. Finally got one a couple years ago and have been collecting non backwards compatible games I didn’t have/couldn’t play on 360 Pretty impressed and have re-collected a lot of the PS2 games I no longer have on Xbox since they are not only a bit better but cheaper. Love the 4 player games (D&D, Shrek 2, Hunter Games, X-men Legends1/2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, etc).
My Uncle gifted me the OG Xbox for my 10th birthday. Came with JSRF and Sega racing game (I don't remember the name). That was the beginning of me becoming an Xbox fanboy and also JSRF is my favorite game of all time.
I love the og XBox, it is one of my favorite consols of of all time. I am currently collecting for it. Lately I have been playing NFL Fever 2002, Splinter Cell, Halo 2, Project Gotham Racing 2, RLH: Run Like Hell, Dead or Alive 3, and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4. I wish I still had all the games I had for the og Xbox I had when I was a teenager. I use too have so many games but got rid of a bunch when my original XBox died and I got the XBox 360.
Such an amazing and easy console to collect for now! Yeah there was alot of games when i was younger that i had to recollect for that i wish i never sold! Cheers!
Something else about the og XBox is just how powerful it is. There are games on it that I think could be mistaken for early PS3 or 360 games such as Doom 3, Chronicles of Riddick, Project Gotham Racing 2, Far Cry: Instincts, Forza Motorsport, Dead or Alive 3, Ninja Gaidan, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. I'm sure there are a few more.
@@GamingOffTheGrid I wish I would have had access too a PS2 at the time as well. I had a subscription to Game Informer magazine and remember seeing a bunch of PS2 games that looked amazing. I had a PS1 and absolutely loved it but didn't get another PlayStation until PS4, I guess you could kind of count the PSP and PS Vita though as I did own both of those. I actually play my Vita all the time, it is my favorite handheld of all time. I just recently came across this youtube channel and love the content you guys put out, Cheers!
You weren't kidding about Burnout 3. Bought that one based on this recommendation. Outstanding game. I was introduced to the series with Burnout Revenge which is also a great game. I did not buy that one until recently though. A lot of fun. Somehow many years ago I wound up with Burnout 2 for Gamecube which I played on my Wii and I had a lot of fun with that one too, but Burnout 3 is a huge improvement over the 2nd one. I was playing it last night, looked over at the clock and realized I had been playing for almost 2 hours and didn't even realize it.
No Crimson Skies, KOTR, Scarface The World is Yours, Ultimate Spider-man, Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Psy-Ops, The Suffering, Silent Hill 4, Fatal Frame. I mean I go on and on
@@GamingOffTheGrid sorry should've worded my message better I wasn't trying to come off like a top ten response. This made me take out my OG Xbox and relive some classics
Love me some Outlaw Golf. Played it heavily in college with my buddies. Picked up a copy recently and I also did a double take as I was like there is no way that is Steve Carell. Would like to know the story behind that.
Great video guys, the OG Xbox together with the Sega Dreamcast are my two favorite consoles the ones that I have more Nostalgia for, a few episodes ago I remember you guys were talking about not having much time to play long complicated games, I'm on the same boat, some of us are married with kids we don't have much time to spare, I would like to recommend a game that I love and have a lot of nostalgia for, a game that not a lot of people talk about but it's really good. I know you guys are not into Sim racing games but give this one a try, it's like 1/2 Sim racing 1/2 arcade racing, it's called: RalliSport Challenge 2 and it's an OG Xbox exclusive, also there is a really sad but beautiful story about this game of a son finding his dad's saved games "the ghost car" on his dad's OG Xbox after his dad passed away, it's probably online search it up if you wish, I think the story is interesting. Apologies for the long message 😄🍻🎮🕹🤘..... cheers.....
Thanks for the list. I grew up playing burnout 2 & 3, GTA vice city, GTA 3, Soul calibur 2. I picked up a broken Xbox on eBay, I fixed it and modded it. Now it's time to buy and play games I missed and of course I will play Burnout 3. Someone told me Xbox games will work on the 360 and one. I was so disappointed when Burnout 3 didn't work. Emulators aren't good enough to play that game. It works better on Linux, it's still glitchy though. I picked up fusion frenzy thanks to this video. I'll play it my little sister.
"The Gaming Shirt Gods" My gosh man!!! You guys!' Your channel is awesome! I really respect your channel. One of thr best out there especially when it comes to Classic consoles. U guys got good tastes and know good games. Wish I could do a crossover video with you guys. I actually got my own channel.
Thanks for all the complements we really appreciate it! Who knows maybe we could! We are mostly planned out for a little bit! But messages us on one of our socials! Thats an easier place to discuss! Cheers!
Based on your guy’s’ pure enthusiasm for it, you’re really making me wanna try burnout 3. My absolute favourite racer of all time is NFS Most Wanted, and burnout looks even crazier than that, will definitely look into that one.
If you love insanely fun arcade racers, absolutely give Flatout: Ultimate Carnage a try. It's a remade with better visuals, expanded version of Flatout 2 made for Xbox 360. Insane fun.
Thats not dumb man! Its hard to keep track of all series so fully understandable! Thats an awesome story! Definitely have lots of memories at Chuck E Cheese! Cheers!
Really enjoying this series bros, you guys always have a interesting list. I’ve never played on the OG XBOX and still this was great, appreciate you guys, cheers!

LOL! Think alot of peoples grades suffered from this generation! Havent played much Rainbow Six 3! Will have to dabble! Cheers!
@@theunfungamer7263
You remember those glitches everybody would do.
@@dannyboswell7188 haha yup!
Outrun 2... best racing game I've ever played!
Its very enjoyable! One of our favorites also! Cheers!
Without looking at the video I knew JSRF had to be there. I am amazed by how well this game has aged.😍
For sure man! Its a staple of the OG Xbox! Cheers!
Its a shame we just learned about it this year from our good friend Gabbo! We seem to find new gems every year! Cheers!
I just beat JSRF a couple of weeks ago for the first time. I played it back in the day, but I never finished the story. What a great game!
Such an amazing series! Need a new one in the series! Cheers!
Panzer Dragoon Orta is one I still play regularly. Great selection of games, there are way too many good games on the OG Xbox to cover them all in one video. Great video guys, Cheers.
That is for sure man! Such a great library! Cheers!
We havent played those games! We will have to check them out! Cheers!
All Great games! The Library is so amazing on the Xbox! Cheers!
Generation 6 is very special to me because I got into selling games and having my own game stores right as this generation kicked off! A lot of fond memories for sure!
Its arguably our favorite generation! Your own gaming stores thats pretty amazing! Cheers!
We eventually opened over a dozen stores across 5 states.
Lol dont get us started on Zach! He beats us alot though ! Cheers!
Great list! My OG Xbox is still hooked up, still regularly play Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, Need for Speed Underground, Capcom Vs SNK 2, Mortal Kombat 7 Armageddon, Soul Calibur II, Star Wars Battlefront II, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Darkwatch, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, the Capcom Collections, and Blood Wake. :)
Great list man! Lots of bangers there and a few we might need to check out! Cheers!
I remember when I saw the OG Xbox after launch I was impressed. Some games caught my eye “Dead or Alive 3”/“Ninja Gaiden”/“Forza motorsport”(The first driving simulator with damage that you can see and feel in the gameplay)
Yeah we have Ninja Gaiden on the PS2! We suck at Forza games and Dead and Alive is a great game! Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid ninja gaiden did not launch on playstation until ps3 as ninja gaiden sigma.
Og xbox one my faves got shy of 100 ish games for it, plus bought my faves digitally on store
Yeah together with the Sega Dreamcast are my favorite consoles, I'm probably close to that number even though I have multiple copies of the same games for system link sessions 🤘🍻🎮
Thats a nice size collection! Such a great console! Cheers!
Glad you are enjoying the series! Seems to be very popular among our viewers! Thanks for more recommendations! Cheers!
Panzer Dragoon Orta is one of the Gen6 Xbox games I still play from time to time, 'cause it's one of my all-time favourite games - 4K/60fps on Series X, thank you so much to team-Xbox!!
We love it also and agree! Such a great orchestrated game! Cheers!
can't deny the high of these vids - my first ever console and we're together 19 years.
Such a hammer and one of our most played consoles in the gameroom! Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid so gets lots of love, post more.
Building a team, taking them to the NHL, then hoisting a Midway Cup in NHL Hitz 20-03 is one of the best couch co-op experiences on the Xbox. And if you have 2, 2-player teams that know what they're doing, watch out!
We will have to do that sometime! Cheers!
always look forward to a original xbox video!!!
Same!!!😃🍻🍺
I own a few of them, I got 4 of them connected via system link, the OG Xbox together with the Sega Dreamcast are my favorite two consoles. 🍻 cheers
Such a great console! Glad you enjoyed! Cheers!
SSX ON TOUR is so fun to play with a friend, and the music, the rock songs are fxcking awesome, very early 2000's
Yeah the soundtrack on that game is so great! Cheers!
Fantastic list. One game I remember playing a lot of is X:Men Legends. I also still play a bunch of NCAA/Madden 06/07. Those will never get old.
The Ea games from that time period were 🔥! X men Legends is a solid game also! Cheers!
Another good video guys keep up the good work. Currently collecting the OG Xbox
in the UK, thankfully prices seem a bit cheaper here.
Prices for the OG Xbox is pretty cheap in the US too! But if they are cheaper there definitely take advantage of it! Cheers!
I do remember the series! Will have to check this out! Cheers!
I literally played “Black” through game pass on my Xbox one. Ordering an original Xbox on Tuesday off eBay and a copy of “Black” because I loved it!!
Yeah we own a modded xbox! Yeah Fusion Frenzy is similar to them with a few different elements! Cheers!
Man love you put outrun in the video such an underrated series great video keep kicking ass guys
Yeah very underated series! Cheers!
Cheers 🍻
yeah Fusion Frenzy is definitely a party game! Yeah you will definitely enjoy those games if you get to play them! Cheers!
Gauntlet Dark Legacy! played this with my brothers and mom growing up, amazing memories.
Awesome man! Sounds like great memories! Cheers!
Great video guys I love the side bar that says when the game came out and how much it is complete in box etc. Would love to see more of that.
I’d like to add a couple vexx, pitfall the lost expedition, and spyro a heroes tale… I don’t believe I’ve ever heard you guys talk about these games
We have talked about Spyro in a video or 2! We have done so many cant remember which ones! Cheers!
(I guess I can understand somewhat, b/c no coop but still):
Wuuut, no
-Blinx 1/2 (excellent platformers with rewind mechanism)
-Munch's Oddysey (Funny 3D platformer, No 3 in the Oddworld series. I bought the Xbox for this game)
-Strangers Wrath (Oddworld 4)
-Halo 1 (needs no intro)
-Grabbed by the Goonies (really pretty sort of twin stick fighting game)
-Knights of the Old Republic (needs no intro)
-Jade Empire (omg this was a pretty action RPG!)
?
Yeah played all the gsmes but Grabbed by the Goonies! Will have to check it out! Cheers!
Some intersecting picks 😎 I really enjoyed this new format with this video 💯❤️
Yeah we wanted to try out some new stuff! We are liking the new format also! Cheers!
I definitely would still be playing: Dead to Rights, Hunter the Reckoning 1 & 2, The Suffering 1 & 2 and Left 4 Dead.
All amazing titles! We just havent played them yet this year! Cheers!
Awesome video! Og Xbox is highly underrated. I also believe people don’t realize that certain og Xbox games are backwards compatible with the 360!
Yeah its such a great system and afforable to build a decent size collection! Cheers!
Last year I bought an OG Xbox just to play JSRF again. Was hoping it would be mentioned in this video and sure enough, it was #1. A slept-on all time great.
Absolutely adore the game! Played it alot as a younger pup! Cheers!
We have played Knights of the Old republic in the past! We are too busy for it now! Armed and Dangerous is a fun 3rd person shooter! Cheers!
Thats a good idea! Something we might consider! Cheers!
Lots of great titles! Need to play The Lord of the Rings game! Cheers!
We like both those games! Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid Excellent taste!
Metal arms and Jurassic park operation genesis are both games I had during the Xbox era that were fun too
Two games we will have to check out! Cheers brotha!
We love the Star Wars games! Cheers!
Thanks for the suggestions! Definitely need to try out all those games! Cheers!
respect for picking some deep cuts in these, and putting the current prices is a nice touch, also I'm not sure what it is but your guys commentary is great, it doesn't have the big youtuber fake hype or cringe shit just 2 bros talking about some games they enjoy. subscribed
Thanks for the kind words! Also thanks for subscribing! Hope to see you around! Cheers!
Great video guys, have you ever played NBA Ballers before? It's 1 on 1 NBA Jam, the career/campaign mode is a lot of fun and ridiculous.
Yeah We have both the games in the series! We lean toward the Street games but its a fun pick up and play also! Cheers!
This came out at the perfect time. Literally just got my OG Xbox out this weekend !
Awesome man! Hope you enjoy it! Such a great console! Cheers!
Farley and Sandler! The phrases, "Day and night she talks; each word more useless than the next!" and "Give me cancer now, God!" are useful in more situations than you'd expect.
Two legendary men in comedy! Cheers!
OG Xbox man I love it Crimson Sky's, Phantom Dust, Voodoo Vince, Conker, Blinx, Jade Empire, MechAssault, Amped, Oddworld, Project Gotham Racing, man this whole era was godly to me..
Great list the one we havent tried is Voodoo Vince! We will have to check that bad boy out! Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid Give it a go, I definitely love it, it's about a Voodoo doll in New Orleans and he hurts himself to beat opponents.. Definitely give it a shot when you get a chance it's a hidden gem for sure 💯..
Interesting! We will add it to the backlog!
We will have to check out that game! Thanks for the recommendation! Cheers!
Anytime brothers!
I got super excited when I saw the OG Xbox video. Love this system. Many do not.
We grew up Playstation guys! But we have really grown to love the Xbox! Cheers!
I played Black for the first time because of this vid. Thankyou, it's awesome.
One of our all time favorite fps! Cheers!
Love the 4 player games on the og Xbox! Especially Kung Fu Chaos and Fusion Frenzy. Great picks. Really thought Halo 2 would have made the regular list but an honorable mention is a mention.
Yeah Halo 2 is not one of the first ten we think of! We play some many games on the Xbox! Cheers!
As someone who grew up with a dad who had the Xbox original. The ai in fusion frenzy made me and my siblings nearly perfect in the game. Except for the ruthenium game section we sucked at that
Great list!!! I still love the OG XBOX and it's still fun to play, especially in 2022!!
Its a hammer and one of most played consoles in the gameroom!
I had owned my first OG Xbox when I was 13, it came with Forza Motorsport and my dad brought NBA 2k6 for it, I really enjoyed this system

Thats awesome! You guys probably have great memories! Cheers!
The best is Brothers In arms road to Hill 30. I love this game.
We will need to add that to the backlog and check it out! Cheers!
Harry Potter & the chamber of secrets?
Spider-Man 2?
Prince of Persia Warrior Within?
Cabella’s Deer Hunt 2005 season?
Gregg Hasting’s Tournament paintball?

Burn Out 3? One of the best arcade driving games period on any generation of console. It looks and runs so well on the OG Xbox!
Yes sir! One of our all time favorite games periods! We have trouble stop playing once we start! Cheers!
200 games in 3 months! Holy Moly! Thats Awesome! Cheers!
I honestly had thought JSRadio would suck at first but as soon as I checked it out it's seriously lit🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great game that needs a new game! Cheers!

Thanks man! Its not really a top 10 list its just 10 games we play in 2022 in a random order! JSRF needs a new game! Cheers Brotha!
Black was one of the last games that surprised me on the PS2. Sorry but i only had playstations in the time.
We grew up getting just Playstation Consoles so we were in the same boat! Cheers!
This popped up in my youtube feed today so Im gonna watch it again
Hell ya!! Always good when the older stuff is still getting recommended :)
I’ve been playing og Xbox lately. I found a game called RLH (run like hell) and it’s an interesting horror title and I came across an Xbox port of the original rollercoaster tycoon and it’s pretty sick
Never heard of RLH! Will have to check it out! Never played much of the Rollercoaster Tycoon series! I think id enjoy it! Cheers!

HELL YEAH! Yeah we play our OG Xbox alot in 2022! We had to have an honorable mention! Cheers!
Yeah the Xbox market is far cheaper than its counterparts! Makes it so much more enjoyable to collect for! Cheers!
My Uncle gifted me the OG Xbox for my 10th birthday. Came with JSRF and Sega racing game (I don't remember the name). That was the beginning of me becoming an Xbox fanboy and also JSRF is my favorite game of all time.
One of my favorite games ever also! Thats an awesome story! Cheers!
Yeah Xbox is a powerhouse! We grew up getting Playstation consoles! So we are still learning about the Xbox! Very Impressive! Cheers!
The series is one of best there is! We love all the games! Cheers!
No Crimson Skies, KOTR, Scarface The World is Yours, Ultimate Spider-man, Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Psy-Ops, The Suffering, Silent Hill 4, Fatal Frame. I mean I go on and on
This isn’t a top 10. Just games we are playing currently. Can’t play everything
@@GamingOffTheGrid sorry should've worded my message better I wasn't trying to come off like a top ten response. This made me take out my OG Xbox and relive some classics
My favourite consoles is the nes.
Then the ps4/5 is up there too.
Games finally caught up to what was in my minds eye as a kid
Great choices! We both love the NES hard but also use our PS4s daily. Thanks for watching. Cheers 🍻!
OutRun 2 is still my favorite OG Xbox game. But dang, great list!
Glad you enjoyed the list man! Cheers!
Artic Thunder is my jam! I play it every few months.
Such a fun game to pick up and play with a buddy! Cheers!
Been watching all these 😇
Wow! Thanks guys thats so awesome! Love all of yall! Cheers!
Love me some Outlaw Golf. Played it heavily in college with my buddies. Picked up a copy recently and I also did a double take as I was like there is no way that is Steve Carell. Would like to know the story behind that.
The Outlaw series is very fun! Yeah the backstory would be interesting! Cheers!
Burnout was my favorite game my sister and I played together growing up. Also, awesome shirts guys!
Burnout is such an amazing series! Cheers!
Fuzion Frenzy was the very first game I ever played on the Original Xbox. I immediately wanted to buy an Xbox then. 👍😉🎮
Such an amazing game especially co op with some buddies! 🍻
I’m happy to see I’m not the only Kung Fu Chaos enthusiast lol. I have 3 copies of the game and I’ll always buy every one I find.
Yeah our buddy Gabbo recommended it to us! We have loved it ever since! Cheers!
Apologies for the long message 😄🍻🎮🕹🤘..... cheers.....
We like to call it Dreamcast 2! They have lots of similarities! We will have to try that game out! Cheers!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy! 🍻
Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid thanks man and will do. What's the name on your social media?
I love fifa street and NFL street as well. Need for speed underground 2 is unforgettable as well
We arent the best at Need for speed but its a fun game! Cheers!
@@GamingOffTheGrid Lol I never said I was good at it but the soundtrack is a banger
Yeah the racing games from that era soundtracks were 🔥!
2023 and I just got my first ever original Xbox! So far I have BLACK, Forza Motorsport, Crimson Skies, and a sealed copy of NFL 2K3!
Nice way to start your collection! 🍻
The fact that the chronicles of Riddick escape from butcher bay and the knights of the old republic games are not on this list is depressing
We havent played those games in 2022! Cheers!
This console stole a good chunk of my 20s!
OG Halo all day long.
Its definitely a hammer! We have falling in love with it the last few years! Cheers!
I bought a handful of XBox and XBox 360 games, and none of them had backwards compatibility; so, I just bought the consoles.
Theres a good chance of that! Cheers!
Fantastic games to have in any collection. A couple of these I still need to add sometime to my own, but bangers for sure.
Thanks man! We agree! We tend to get the cheapest version of any game! Tends to be Xbox in this generation! Cheers!
Based on your guy’s’ pure enthusiasm for it, you’re really making me wanna try burnout 3. My absolute favourite racer of all time is NFS Most Wanted, and burnout looks even crazier than that, will definitely look into that one.
NFS games are great but we think Burnout games take it to the next level! Cheers!
If you love insanely fun arcade racers, absolutely give Flatout: Ultimate Carnage a try.
It's a remade with better visuals, expanded version of Flatout 2 made for Xbox 360.
Insane fun.
Maybe dumb, but I had no idea Arctic Thunder had an Xbox release. I remember playing it years ago at a Chuck E. Cheese and had a lot of fun with it
Thats not dumb man! Its hard to keep track of all series so fully understandable! Thats an awesome story! Definitely have lots of memories at Chuck E Cheese! Cheers!
Wow some amazing games and affordable prices thank you for this vid will be picking up some of these great recommendations :-)
Your welcome! Thanks for watching and enjoy the games! Cheers!
Really enjoying this series bros, you guys always have a interesting list. I’ve never played on the OG XBOX and still this was great, appreciate you guys, cheers!
Thanks man! Hope you get to enjoy this great console someday! Cheers!
