This Mommy Obby has been amped up with balloons, streamers, and a few other things!
Creating obstacle courses this like with your littles is a no-stress, fun and easy project. Take your time and let your littles help you build the obby together! They will have fun creating it, playing in it, and then destroying it :) Taking down the obby, or destroying it is kind of like deconstructive role play....maybe.
We had most of the materials left over from the first Mommy Obby, and the traffic cones were purchased a few years ago for a "Construction Truck" themed birthday party. Already, my pocket book was winning. We purchased the plastic table covers, streamers, and the curling ribbon. However, I later found curling ribbon in my stash of holiday wrapping box. So, moral of this story is that you probably have most of these supplies in your house!
I think the littles had more fun playing with the streamers than anything else! Three rolls of streamers for less than $3 and about 2 hours of playtime...that's worth it! The littles played with the streamer scraps the next day too!
