Xavier can’t get it through his head that Wednesday isn’t interested in him. By all accounts, she finds him mildly annoying and stalker-ish, and their relationship only becomes light friendship on her side because he is useful for her goal of finding the hyde out of her own curiosity, and then vengeance. She likes Tyler because they are alike in their sociopathic, sadistic, and morbid natures. She doesn’t mind him being a serial killer, since she nearly killed boys out of vengeance with a smile on her face, and also enjoys the fear of her victims. Xavier doesn’t understand that she literally doesn’t care about Tyler’s prank because she would have done worse and isn’t the sweet, moral girls he delusionally thinks she is.
This interpretation is beyond delusional 😂. She liked him when he saved her. That's why she was so rude to him and she wanted him to be the monster. Because she had feelings for him and she didn't like it. It is literally in the script.
@@Romance_dream_ She was semi-pissed that he saved her, rather than thankfully seeing him as her “hero”, and only smiled during that whole exchange when she was talking about the dead person possibly being alive in the coffin when they were kids. As for her being rude meaning she liked him, she isn’t a little boy pulling pigtails. The whole “saying mean things that you don’t really mean” thing she does with Enid when feeling upset or lonely is just a normal subterfuge girl-girl interaction between friends that she doesn’t do with anyone else. She wasn’t truly mean or rude to Tyler and actually went on dates with him and kissed him. She was simply direct about who she is and her priorities and he accepted that for the most part, even if they conflicted with him. She was also nice in her own way to Eugene and Enid. She found Xavier an “elitist snob” and then a tolerable being, but never showed any sign of romantic interest in him. She seemed to find all his drawings of her stalker-ish and creepy, not in the good way, had no problem asking Xavier to the dance under false pretenses and then wasn’t upset when he called it off after finding out her true intentions. Tyler showed up at her door out of the blue for the dance and she went with him even though she had other plans and never wanted to go in the first place. If Xavier had tried that, she would have said she had other plans and simply left him there. She used him constantly for her purposes and found his sketchy behavior curious because she was hunting the monster first out of curiosity and to prove she was right about its existence, which he didn’t believe and tried to talk her out of it, and then for revenge. Their entire relationship is one-sides. Can you give me an instance of reciprocated romance or romantic intentions between them on her end?
that's literally her personality. She is stubern and childish. she liked him, Xavier is cute and he is a sweet nice guy that's exactly her type" like her father said." i knew it when i first watched it. but if you don't believe me? it is written in the script.@@Curlyteacher537
