Welcome to the world of Aurora, where your soul is open wide! She has so many songs, going straight into your inner self you would be surprise. Two other songs like Murder Song are: Through the eyes of a child (live stripped version) and It happened quiet (Nidarosdomen Concert). The whole Nidarosdomen Concert is magical af and it will softly punch you in the face several times. Great reaction of you. Love it! By the way, Aurora has her own interpretation of Into the Unknown which is totally the opposite of the movie track. You will be surprised. :-)
Monscent If they wanted to JUST enjoy the music they probably would just listen to it on Spotify or something instead of going on a reaction page. What sort of comments would you like to see on this page, or would you prefer if there were none?
Not now, but she's already close. In any case, she is one of the down-to-earth, nicest and most human. I only know one other person who is just as warm and can sing technically better and that is Floor Jansen. But Aurora is still very young. She can still get there. As long as we have at least one role model in every generation who is really a role model, the world is still okay. Both just need to become much better known.
Billie Eilish said Aurora inspired her to become an artist after watching Aurora's song Runaway for the first time, she said "now that's what I want to do with my life".. Do The Seed, Churchyard Running with the wolf or Through the eyes of a child..... So many excellent songs to react to

I love watching reactions to this because people never expect it to hit so hard, and they usually burst into tears uncontrollably. Does that make me a sadist? BTW the best version of this one is the Nobel Peace Prize concert.
The way reactors start with “She’s so beautiful” then “What a great voice” and then their faces when they realise what she’s singing. And then the emotion hits like a freight train.
Welcome to the world of Aurora, she will punch you in the face again and again, in the most wonderful way. I suggest you react to her music video for her song Winter Bird. It is stunning! And it eerily kind of describe this new quarantine lifestyle we live now. If you want a heavy hitter form Aurora I suggest her #vevohalloween 2016 Under Water. If you want to cry some more go for The River music video. If you want to feel all the feels, react to Churchyard live at KEXP it is deliciously spooky and at the same time empowering. And of course, if you want to start at the beginning Runaway live at the 2015 Nobel Price Prize Concert, she wrote the song when she was 11 years old.
Aurora is so special. You probably will like the music videos from "the river", "running with the wolves" and "the seed". Live she is amazing and really expressive too(recommend through the eyes of a child - vevo lift, it happened quiet - nidarosdomen, and her cover of god is a woman)
Ive been listening to aurora now for 6 months straight and i cant stop 😂 Aurora wrote the song when she was 11 im pretty sure and its meant to be a love song This was the first song I ever heard from her and i love it Her cover of teardrop by massive attack is awesome too
She wrote Murder Song when she was about 17 years old, but it is indeed meant to be a love song. The songs that is confirmed she wrote pee-teen are Runaway and In Boxes at 11 years old she started to write Too Far when she was 9, but felt it was to silly to write about love so she put it away for some years, continued writing on it when she was 12 year old and understood it was not necessarily about romantic love, but self love and self worth. It got put away again, and years later she added the part about the blood, probably when finding songs for her first album.

AURORA is excellent; so many more great songs. You could do reactions every day and spend months doing her OC, her covers, or her live performances. I'd recommend checking out some of it on your own time. There are lots of good music videos, amazing covers, and she's one of those artists that's often even better live than in the studio versions. Thanks for the reaction!
This song is actually about a couple in her hometown. The woman was suffering and dying from an incurable disease and he kills her to spare her from the horrible slow death she would’ve had. The story is told not only through her perspective but his as well. Some people feel like it’s both her and him counting down until he pulls the trigger or it’s her counting down and the song is her slowly dying , kind of like a life flashing before her eyes as she dies kind of moment, all while she can feel him hold her close and hear him cry over her body. Its super sad and it gets worse as you watch it once more knowing the backstory.
Aurora did her own version of Into The Unknown and its magical, you should definitely listen to it! Also her performance of Soft Universe at Nidarosdomen is a truly magical experience!

I have heard several different ideas about how she came up with these lyrics. I have no idea for sure. But the lyrics do tell us part of the story. The one that makes the most sense to me is that she wrote this about someone that was investigated for murder of his wife. She had just learned she was dying of some horrific disease and wanted to commit suicide. She pleaded with him to hold the gun against her hear while she pulled the trigger. I cant imagine what a guy in that situation would emotionally be going through. It would be hell on earth.
