Great shave Gary. Yes we got 9 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. The flooding occurred the next day and was extremely fast. We go to town and it's not out of the banks and was not rising or anything. We get back home in about an hour and a half and it's near our back porch. Within another hour, it was half way in our front yard and it had come through our shower drain which had damaged lining. The town repaired it today and we're in the process of cleaning it up. Our insurance agent has already filed a claim with our flood insurance.
Thanks Gary for taking the time to think about my mental health. Seeing you using a thicker lather brings a sense of calm to me. Have you ever considered trying a straight razor? It might make for an entertaining video. I have tried it myself but honestly a good DE razor and blade combination gives a shave at least equal to the cutthroat without the potential for drama.
The best way is to try it. Dry off the block while the alum has a chance to work on your face and see if you notice any difference the next time you use the alum block.
