Northern Lights 8th March 2024

Just the one clear night on my recent break on Skye, not the biggest aurora but still nice to catch one on holiday from this beautiful location. The first section was taken from near the Milovaig Pier between 2100 and 2237 UTC, I then returned to the holiday cottage where the view wasn’t quite so good, but there were some impressive rays for a time rising above the hillside. between 2335 and 0132 UTC.
