The guy loves his new drums, what can he say? Any gear-junky can understand it. Crack or no Crack. In my book, He always gets an "A" for enthusiasm and another "A" for real insight on all things Bonzo.
Wow for some reason it's super exciting for me to watch people to get to unbox their brand new drums I hope I get the experience that someday very happy for you man I can feel the excitement that you display
With all of that great packaging I wouldn't have expected to see a crack. Damn, good thing you were video taping when you unboxed it and got a close up of the crack. Nice Kit Terry!
IT'S ALWAYS SPECIAL TO "FEEL THE NEW TOY"!!!!!!!!!!GREAT KIT TERRY!!! IT GIVES A NEW VIBE TO THE BOZOLEUM CHANNEL!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE LESSONS WITH IT!!!! (JR-PORTUGAL) PS: I like the way your dog appreciates the new drums!!!!
Congrats Terry! Thought you may like to know, Ludwig sells “modern” rail mount systems that require no drilling. All you need to do is take two lugs off the bass drum, and the system mounts right where the lugs used to be. It’s a spectacular system, I highly recommend it!
Right on Terry! Too bad they weren't in Chicago anymore, you could drive there and give us a factory tour while you picked them up. DId you get the picks I sent of the Richie Ring yesterday?
Terry, what a incredible looking kit my man!! I was considering the Black Galaxy Wrap for my Classic Maples as well. I’m also looking at Black Sparkle though, I’m not really sure which one to go for yet!
hahahaha yes man Congrats! Definitely gotta give the shells a sniff, it is a very unique smell =]. Just got all new heads on my 14X24 Salesman kit. Aquarian Response 2 clears on top and classic clears on the bottom, and a superkick 2 as always. And I tried this triple treat head that's 3 ply it's actually really nice
Brother that is so freaking awesome, i envy you ....I have only bought 1 brand new kit (DW collector series) way back in 2006 and was so excited to unbox it , but when i got to the store they had already unboxed it to look at it first .. i was and still am shattered i never got to be the first to see it .....
I gotz the same kit but more tomz, 8x10 8x12 9x13 14x14 14x16 w 16x22.all mini classic lugz. I set up what ever i'm in the mood for.Matching inlay. Nice vid BONZ!
Man I miss that Laquer smell!! I worked at Ludwig in 1993 until 1995 in Monroe N.C. then had to move back home for family issues soon after, Best job I ever had making shells.. $6.50 an hour back then, but my rent was only $200.00 a month.. lol Enjoy those Jem's Brother!! Rock!!
Hey Ed! Where did the Supra shells come from? Where did the maple and poplar plies come from- PA or Canada? How many people worked there? How busy was it? How many shifts? I could ask you a million questions of everything I've wondered about the Ludwig plant.
They look amazing. I have a double bass Ludwig accent custom and Keller shell kit but your kit takes the cake man. I hope to see you out coated emperors or ambassadors and see you beat the hell out of them!
Hey Terry seems to me you’re going to have to be getting rid of some stuff in that basement to make room for this new toy. What you gonna put on the market? And those T lugs on the bass drum! Takes me back to my first Ludwig set which I bought in 1967. Was that an option?
Nice man pretty funny video. I just got a quote for a 22x16, 12x8 and 16x16 in that same finish but I may go with just the black sparkle. I think a 12x8 would probably look foolish with the classic lugs so I am debating on putting mini lugs on the rack tom and classic lugs everywhere else? Also looking at the center mount and the atlas ride holder on the bass drum as this will be a gigging kit so less cymbal stands is a good thing. How do you like those T" handles on the bass drum reso and batter? debating that as well but I think it may hinder fitting into a bass drum case? However the idea of adjusting head tension without a key is very enticing. I believe I am ordering the 12" tom with an atlas holder but I like the one you have on your 13" seems less intrusive. I am looking at red sparkle inlays. Love the shopping and cannot wait to get to the point of unpacking it like this : ).
I like how the large classic lugs look on an 8x12 personally! As far as the bass I'd go with the key rods too, as the Ts look cool, but are actually a bit of a pain in the butt. Especially true if you're going to use drum case. And I think the red sparkle inlays would look sharp!!
@@bonzoleum the only reason I say that about the 12 x 8 is the lugs are too close together reso and batter. a 12 x 9 would be ok but that 1" shallower depth makes a big difference. BTW do you have any video's of this kit under lights or set up and playing. Would love to see this color under stage lights
Half the fun of watching a new bonzoleum video is reading dem krazy comments. Be careful with that key, Terry, you might have trouble starting your bonzomobile. Peace, love & lunacy, everyone!
The gold hoops look seriously sick dude!
Say no to crack!

Y'all didn't know Bonzoleum was a plumber too.
Jajajaja I was going to say the same thing
Watching you unboxing those Ludwig's reminds of the dad unboxing his major award of the leg lamp from the movie Christmas Story.
…greatest (RUclips) comment I’ve ever read💡🔨
Digging the new drums, Terry! Love that black galaxy wrap with the gold hoops! Can't wait to hear them!
Lovely lovely lovely!!!......I have a 1970 Super Classic sky blue pearl, also 24, 16, 13......swap ya?....I'll throw in a jar of decaf?

Inhales floor tom air, passes out, and Matt Foleys into his bass drum.
Nice kit!
Beautiful kit, Terry! I’ve got a Fab 22 classic maple set in BOP. Love mine and I’m sure you’ll love yours too. Cheers!

How many joints did you smoke before you attempted to unbox?
I was waiting for the dog to lift his leg and mark the kick drum 😂😂. Nice kit btw.

Yes-they still offer those!
Wow,,,,they are fucking awesome!!!! So happy for ya man..🤘🤓
That was fun. Thanks!
That's a beautiful drum! You're a funny dude.
They're beautiful Terry.
Beautiful kit. Looking forward to hearing it.
When I heard the intro I instantly liked this video
Imagine a set in black galaxy, but with green sparkle inlay hoops on the bass drum AND the toms
Stunning T!!!!Absolutely beautiful 😍
Nice set Terry... congratulations
Hey Terry do you prefer the 24 inch kick compared to the 26
Yes-it;s flexible.
Those boxes look familiar. Congrats Bonzo. -b
Love the kit, I knew you'd be a dog guy haha love it
Its beautiful !
Wait I'm confused....Is your dogs name Frosty or Moxie? Great drums!!!!!
Sorry, dumb question but when did the Ludwig factory move out of Chicago?
Not a dumb question at all-1984.
Love the hoops. Killer kit!
Terry beautiful kit! Are you gonna put coated emperors on them?
Nice, gotta hear them
Why do you gotta make me jealous like that
Did you get them from Vic Salazar formally of The Drum Pad?

Dude, what kind of drugs are you on?!!!! LOL A new Classic Maple "high" I suppose
Lmao
I got a DDrum Bombadier Kit, But my selfish nature says I would love to have this kit. Or perhaps the Ludwig Vistalites Bonham plays.
I’ve been waiting for this moment
How much? there's MSRP then the cash price. So how much T ?
Terry: I thought that Ludwig discontinued installing P1216D's on the bass drum. Did they do it or did the company that you bought it from install it?
They did it at the factory. As for as I know they still do it!
That sucks. I was told when I ordered my kit that they would not do that so I had t d it myself.
Gorgeous kit!
Nice kit!.....anyone got a quarter for the slot machine?
Great kit, ordered my mod orange kit 3-4 -19 how long did for you to get your drums
It turned out to be six weeks.

Gorgeous drums. Nothing like getting new Ludwigs. How long did it take to get them from the day you ordered them?
Great question
Six weeks.
@@bonzoleum You must have some pull because I waited 12 weeks for a floor tom last year. I'm on week 10 right now waiting for a snare drum.
Congrats terry there sweet
Bonzo was a bricklayer by trade.
can we just get a video of you doing some singing, like in the beginning?
OOH DRUMS DRUMS DRUMS 😍😍😍
Whoa. Bad ass.
how many drums do you need?
This guy reminds me of Mike Brewer from the show Wheeler Dealers?
You noticed that the dog decided to exit. Even the dog thinks this guy is a clown.
Nice shirt
you need a swiv-o-matic tom holder.
