My mother has been in heaven for over 2 years now. I am lifted up by the words of this song, reminding me that I will see her again. I miss her so much, but Jesus is my comfort!!
I’ve been on the edge of breaking for months now. First Covid, then the loss of my pastor, then the loss of a my closest friend, then the loss of my best friend. It’s just seems like weariness is a constant, but this song… this song gives me hope. I think I’m a thousand of these streams. This has been on repeat practically since I heard it. It describes a personal loss, but the realization that their loved one is no longer suffering, and that is healing them. It comforted me in the loss of my wife a few months ago. My new husband and I lost everything to the quad state tornado the day before our wedding. Despite this, and not getting much sleep, we went ahead and got married on December 11th, in a church without electricity. One of our church friends told us that going ahead and getting married was like a kick in the devil’s face.
From the first minute of destruction, I was praising God in the storm. Standing in the middle of where my house used to be, I raised my hand to the air and shouted, “God, I don’t know what you’re doing, but I trust You!” There’s still a lot of uncertainty, but we are incredibly blessed. The wedding was very emotional, I was grateful to have my new husband, because if it wasn’t for the wedding, he would have been in the house, he would have died.
We have a team from Indiana that has connections with the Amish, and they will be building us a brand new house. I am a firm believer that God doesn’t take away, without giving something better. All praise be to God! ❤️

This is James, in Ukraine, serving refugees, serving the solders, seeing the destruction the dead, older people left behind. I find my strength is Jesus. In my broken heart I can still only imagine how Jesus felt when all he did was help, heal and love and he was still crucified, he never complained, never gave up. This song saved me and changed my life, 2 years ago now. It brought me back to my faith, to prayer, and inevitably to church. And it was going back to church after years of not going, or practicing my faith that God showed me my life’s purpose. God showed me that I am to be a priest. I’ve been discerning ever since then, and eventually I started my application for the seminary, and after 7+ months of doing my application, I am blessed to say that today on 7/26/2024 I’ve been accepted into the seminary. Whoever is reading this, please pray for me, pray that I follow through and become a priest, pray that when I am a priest I lead many souls to heaven. Amen.

I didn’t mention to you or Mike that my husband that was with me and took pictures with y’all is having treatment for stage 4 colon cancer. We maintain a good attitude because if we do not persevere and trust our Lord then we have no hope. We are staying anchored. Thank-You again Jordan, much love and safe travels.
December 5th, my Father was diagnosed with stage 3 Lung Cancer. Coming home from his Doctor appointment we prayed and gave everything to God , praising him for allowing us to be with my Father during his journey. 5 hours later our son woke us up telling us that our house was on fire. We all made it out safely, but lost everything. I praised God even louder for protecting my Family. We're rebuilding now, the days are hard , sad, and we are weary, but I praise God for the chance to rebuild and to care for my Father .
I heard this for the first time the day my dad passed away. He was 93 and so tired. I didn’t want to let him go. He’s with Jesus now and no longer weary.

Im 25 years old, I grew up going to church with my parents and grandparents, playing instruments, singing, and leading worship. I’ve been struggling. Fallen away from the church and felt as if I was no where near Gods presence. Dealing with chronic illnesses and mental health, lead me to believe that I wasn’t worthy to be called a child of god, that I was forgotten about.
Yesterday, June 19, 2022, I rededicated my heart back to Christ and I’ve never felt such relief, calmness, and the overwhelming sense of his presence. I am where I need to be. I’m a weary traveller, but I won’t be weary long.
I broke down this morning first hearing this song. I attribute the lyrics to my mom, who often feels like a weary traveler. At every turn, the world beats her down but through it all she continues to give. She's a dedicated christian, loves people and animals (she has 3 dogs, 2 cats), and gives back to her community, but she's suffered from a number of health problems for decades. I'm blessed shes made it so far. The world and people continue to judge unfairly and shun her, even after 2 decades from a past she has grown beyond. She deserves better. She deserves peace of mind, and respect and admiration for her courage, her love and compassion, her resiliency, and love for the simple things in life. She's been through so much, but I always tell her to keep holding on. This will all be worth it. Love you momma. Thank you for this song Jordan, and your hope and inspiration.

We were driving home from Church. This song was playing. I said, "this would be a good song to end a memorial service". My hysband said, "Its the perfect message to leave for those left behind". Less than 3 weeks later, he had made it home.
We played this song as his last message to those left behind.

Oh my goodness, that IS alot to carry. I lost my son, my only child, on May 30th 2021. I am devastated, I had been weary for too long when this tragedy struck. Thankfully, I see his two young boys, my precious Grandsons, often.

@@user-wf7nq2rc6w Some more than others. I suffered true physical and emotional abuse at the hands of my mom as a child and now as an adult I am taking care of her. She is still emotionally abusive. Through God and GOD alone, I am able to truly love her. That said, it doesn't stop the pain of the memories that pop up and the current emotional abuse. I am a very weary traveler.

When you find yourself at that point in life where everything seems to fall apart, and no matter where you run, there is no escape. Nothing can solve your problems. That the moment when you run to Jesus. He is there waiting to hear you say "I need you". He will receive you and welcome you in his arms. He will cleanse you and take care of you. Never again will you be alone. Walk with Jesus. He's the way, the truth and the life. He's waiting.

My cat Salem, my person, I tell people, went Home yesterday. I am lost. Salem was with me through so much. My reason to get out of bed when my spinal pain was screaming, my reason to keep going when I thought I couldn't take it for a second longer.
But he was a very literal answer to a prayer. I had lost another cat and prayed with a friend. I remember every word. "Lord, you know my heart. You know what I need and when I need it. Please send me the right critter at the right time."
Less than 2 weeks later, I moved to a better apartment, and Salem was living on my back porch. God moved me to him.
Now I don't know how to do this. The loss of the other cat hurt, but she had been the family cat. I didn't have her for long and we didn't have the same connection Salem and I had.
I am weary. I am broken-hearted. But I am not alone. God is with me.

I want you to know that there are many other followers of the Christ who may feel like you do but that is the blessing of all having Jesus Christ in common. I too feel that way. my husband just died a few years ago and I feel that way more now than ever. I believe that God has a purpose and a plan for it though. Jesus felt alone at times. I think it's so we can be there for people that are lonely , which is most people now a days. I am torn, on one hand I want to go be with Jesus and leave this weary road, but on the other I want to take as many with me as I can and there are so many that aren't ready yet!

My mom has terminal cancer. I go to cancer center every 2 weeks. I deliver medication to the elderly and nursing home. It seems like every where I go there is suffering. I can't wait to be with Jesus after I have fulfilled my purpose on this earth 🙏
In 2017 I was diagnosed with cancer, than in 2019, I had kidney failure. I now do dialysis. Some days are better than others
I have lost my first husband at 46, my parents are now gone and so is my one granddaughter. Some days it's more than I can take. But something inside me keeps going with the hope of Jesus.🙏
Going to my mom's house yesterday to meet with our family- she having just took her final breaths a half hour earlier, only hours after I'd left for the afternoon. She'd battled Glioblastoma for greater than 9 months, lived large, lived Christ and according to Scripture is at rest until That Day! When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing... but how can we share His joy, Light and love on this side of Heaven.

I used this song as the soundtrack on a video of our 20-year-old US Airman son surprising his siblings when he came home on leave last November after being stationed in S. Korea for a year. Now my daughter and I can't hear this song without getting teared up. He's been stationed in Japan for over a year now and may not be coming home for another year.

My husband just had brain surgery for an Anurism. He's unconscious and on a breathing machine in the neuroscience ICU. I saw him stop breathing and had to call EMS. he will be in ICU for 21 days and I'm home alone with a physical disability. My Sister shared this and I was finally able to break down.

My story is VERY long and I'm weary. First wife = schizophrenic. I raised my daughter by myself. Did it biblically right on 2nd marriage but in 2016 found out her daughter was touched at age 3-5 by another child. She has been in intensive therapy with little effect. In 2019 wife at age 43 was dx'd with a disabling disease. We sold our 4 year old dream farm and 50 pets. I have done everything - literally (cook, cleaning, shopping, bills, maintenance, etc) - for my family since then. I am weary and want God to call me home. I'm afraid I can't keep doing this. Trying hard. Never much cried before. Now I cry all the time. This song was made for me but it doesn't bring peace. I want to be called home.

June 2021 I went into septic shock and died. Doctors told my family that I would not come off life support. A week later I woke up. June 12 2022 I lost my husband of 27 years. I’m still recovering. I have multiple health problems. I didn’t see me doing this life alone and disabled but God has shown me that he’s not going anywhere. He will always be there for me.

This song does give Hope. We all go through storms. I think Jesus for waking me up every day. Sometimes those storms hurt inside but remember if will get better. I'm going through storms right now and it comes and goes but is what makes is stronger. Jesus loves you.

I have lost my my mother, my 18 year old son, my two.sisters, my brother, my husband. I have held it all locked in my soul. As I was riding down the interstate my station wouldn't pick up so I changed the station. Jordan I had to pull over and broke down. I felt like you were singing this to me through Jesus. People never know what's going on with each other. I help others all that I can, with many telling me I've earned another jewel in my crown. One week ago we had him hospitalized. I haven't had the chance to share it with him yet, but "someday soon we're gonna make it home" has a double meaning. This song really connected with my heart, and many others' , as well. Carry on!🧡

Lost my husband, still recovering from that.... it's been a long road without him but I KNOW He's waiting for me with Jesus ... lost my dad, most of my close friends have passed away too long of a list to post. I'm 39 yrs old and I know more ppl that have passed than are alive these days. It's tough when you're alone
I’m so tired & weary. I struggle every day with pain, fatigue & depression. My adult son committed suicide in 2014 while living with me. I had to leave my job because of pain issues due to motorcycle accident. Then my elderly dad passed late 2022 & then my mom in early 2023 & now my youngest adult child has been in the hospital in ICU for the last eight weeks not knowing if she would live & finally she was moved to a nursing home/rehabilitation center. I am so tired & looking for Jesus. This is not my home. I know I am a sojourner here on this earth, but it’s getting to be too much & I want to go home to be with Jesus where I belong. This song helps me to keep looking ahead for the day of glory.
