What was taught when I was an officer, for the Phonetic Alphabet:
    A: Adam
    B: Boy
    C: Charles
    D: David
    E: Edward
    F: Frank
    G: George
    H: Henry
    I: Ida
    J: John
    K: King
    L: Lincoln
    M: Mary
    N: Nora
    O: Ocean
    P: Paul
    Q: Queen
    R: Robert
    S: Sam
    T: Tom
    U: Union
    V: Victor
    W: William
    X: X-ray
    Y: Young
    Z: Zebra
GTA 5 LSPDFR and even the regular GTA 5 police radio uses this same alphabet. I've played Flashing Lights, enjoyed it in multiplayer, not so much in single as it's always the same calls. They need call out mods like LSPDFR. I have three different ones installed, and can get anything from a Domestic to an Animal call. Not to mention the searches, DUI, Narcotics DUI... I get a wide variety of call outs in LSPDFR, plus the realistic looking uniforms. Used my traffic vest at night or on accidents on FL like you would in the real world. Have yet to use it in LSPDFR. As for slow drivers, that's usually a sign of Narcotics or Alcohol. I get those all the time in LSPDFR and yes, that is realistic. Though I have gotten the other realistic one in LSPDFR, which is the driver is experiencing a medical emergency. Crazy single player traffic stop.
As for AI, LSPDFR has a script that fixes how the AI act. Just like real life, some move over, some just stop in the middle of the road, some just freak. The engine sounds for the new 2021 Tahoe you have there, should be in LSPDFR, but it's GTA so you know. Also searches, search questions all that much more realistic in LSPDFR.
Again, I like flashing lights, but it's like Law and Order vs Live PD or Cops when you have played both. LSPDFR is so much like real life. Seriously, went a whole shift on LSPDFR with like three calls. Pretty much filled my time with traffic stops, and talking to citizens in Los Santos. Yeah, they have that feature in Stop the Ped. You can give civilians ride alongs.
Registering suspects in LSPDFR, you either take them to the jail after logging the charges in the computer (I use Compulite since it is more like the real system I used, others use Computer Plus or the LSPDFR computer) and then lock them in a cell. Or you call a transport, or have an officer take them from you. I do all of them. But you make sure that you log their charges in. I just like the gameplay of LSPDFR better. Not knocking FL, if you want to start out playing police sims, then FL is perfect. It gets you a basic understanding of how it all works. As for LSPDFR, it's more of a game that if you have experience (real life, or just gaming as a cop) you can make full decisions. Most of the time I use officer discretion. I didn't really feel like Flashing Lights gave me that option. It was more of a black and white type of game. Either you let them off, or you take them in. LSPDFR gives you more options. But that's my opinion. I make a lot of arrests and write a lot of ticket in LSPDFR. I also let an equal number of people go with warnings, or go with a ride like a taxi or an uber. I let more people go that way. I have let plenty go on foot.

@@GarrettPlays no problem. I think I said that I think of FL as more the academy, and LSPDFR is the duty. Either way, I like both games.

So do police departments not use the NATO phonetic alphabet? I didn't know that. I don't suppose it really matters, as long as the word you use makes it clear what letter it refers to (no good using "Pterosaur" for "P" for example).

What a lot of people may not know when it comes to the phonetic alphabet is that there are multiple ones and variations to several. When it comes to police, the most familiar one is the one typically used by many police departments, and mainly within the state of California in the US. It can also differ from one department to another. For instance, the letter I could be Ida or India. U could be either Union or Uniform. As a side note, these are not technically considered proper phonetic alphabets.
For an actual phonetic alphabet, probably the most well known is the NATO phonetic alphabet. For this, I would be India and U would be Uniform. Generally speaking, if you're unsure which to refer to, the NATO phonetic alphabet is typically the "safest" option.
In any case, another good video, bud. Keep up the good work!

the best police phonetic alphabet i would suggest you to use would be the one the L.A.P.D uses.

Yeah, this is the phonetic alphabet I learned in the Red Cross and then the army reserves. "I" was either "Indigo" or "India" depending on who you asked, but I think the official one is "Indigo".
