- Recently I reached out to Jakob Frank of Canna Guitars to get hands on with one of his instruments, and it has to be the most unique guitar I've ever played!

Hemp could change the world, it will not get you high. Hemp is an industrial used product.
I personally dislike the bad connotation Hemp has over Marijuana. Cannabis comes in 2 forms they are not equal.

@@JoeCarpenter Wrong... Hemp is the strongest natural fiber in the world, that's why they call it hemp STONE! Hemp composite can be up to 10x stronger than steel... I would bet this guitar will be here many generations after you and your traditional wood guitars!

I have to admit, I love it. the fact its made its made from Hemp isnt what interests me. Its just so unique and has some great design ideas. The 2 sound holes, stunning headstock and the neck looks gorgeous and on top of that, the tone is really sweet. On top of that its played so beautifully. Great Video!
When I was young, I got caught up in the thought: if the world runs out of trees there will be no more guitars. It's very cool to see people exploring other materials for instrument building, especially something sustainable

I HATE a rounded back on an acoustic. I've always avoided Ovations for precisely that reason. The guitar sounds nice though.

Rounded backs always looked ugly and they don’t provide much of a bass response, tho this guitar is very beautiful and unique.

What do I think? AMAZING! Never would have imagined a hemp guitar. The sound holes make such a remarkable sound variance, and totally true notes. Hearing it on headphones. The clarity and tonal spectrum is phenomenal. Wow. Thank you for this video. Really learnt something here.

What I like the most about your videos is it calm and professional explanations the way you display the important facts from a player's point of view. And I agree, the "incredibly designed neck" impressed me as well. Amazing video and an amazing instrument. Some finger freestyle with this guitar would be great ;)

This thing is art and an achievement. There’s a weird “sour grapes” vibe from many people in the comments about the price. It’s not for you (or me) but that’s ok. It’s almost as though people resent or trivialize things that they can’t afford.

I have often wondered when somebody was going to use the hemp plant in the making of a string instrument.
Noticing the sound is very defined and snappy to response. And the sound hole is nothing short of a genius thought.
Oh how so very easy to relocate the sound hole to allow the guitars strength to be reenforced! Thus Ree forcing the sound projection!
I absolutely love it. The design is just as amazing as the sound that emulates when played. Bravo Sir!

Maybe it’s the audio but it sounds a little “light”. I feel like a regular guitar can give you more “umph” or bass
Front the front of the guitar I agree, but once you get the sound holde sound it becomes much warmer and rich sounding.
