I am just glad the canon ending was a happy ending. If I had to change a few things, I would do the following: Have the Collector stay on the isles and use his powers to help repair the isles as community service. Have some of the Titan Trappers decide to help out and repent too, as it is highly implied their hunting lifestyle was inspired by Bill’s lies. Have Hunter be adopted by Camila as while Darius did help out, I personally doubt he is fully equipped to care for a traumatized child, especially since it was implied he always either ignored or picked on Hunter growing up, despite being implied that he knew Hunter was a grimwalker.
Another one I would add is having Luz and Amity having a talk at their Grom tree where she finally confesses her to about what she was originally planning on doing before her talk with Camila near the end of For the Future.
I do think the confrontation between Collector/Belos and Eda/King would be a way better justification for Collector deciding that King's been lying the whole time than him deciding to stop listening at the most convenient point - as he'd have actual justification, seeing that King's been lying about Eda's curse the whole time, thus adding backing to Belos's lies. I think this could play out without changing much about the actual story or the plot of Watching and Dreaming at all - it could still lead into Collector's "new game" when the two are unsuccessful.
The: “would she blame herself even more,” (when he talked about how Luz would feel) hit me to hard, I’m crying 😭she is to relatable…But these were heartbreaking, but also very creative endings. Even though it couldn’t be an ending for the owl house. I think writers/or people that love to write (like myself) would use these heartbreaking ideas for their own story❤️do you agree?
Yeah! That's what I love about media! The ability to create your own twists and head-canons. People are so creative, and a good head-canon is always so much fun to read and think about!
