Man! That thing just blasts off the runway, doesn't it? Is that a Rotax 447 or a 503? Enjoying the videos and the encouraging words. Being a two-axis have you had much chance to fly with a cross wind for takeoff/landing?
Not a ton of cross wind flying but I have had some. I generally don't fly in much wind it seems like I can handle some cross wind and just wind in genral, but the thermals seem to give me the most trouble.
@@commentatron It just gets to a point where it's not fun having to focus on keeping the wings level and the felling of the plane going up and down rapidly, I know I'm not going to just fall out the sky but it for me takes the fun out of it. I was told though that eventually you just kind of get used to it and I would say I have gotten less freaked out by it each time, but I definitely dig the glassy smooth air in the morning and evenings when the winds are calm
Hi Jordan, I'm rebuilding an MX Sport and would like to get a bit of time before i fly it. I have relatives in Canby and get there a few times a year. Would you be interested in giving me a ride on one of my trips?
I don't have a license, so I would legally not be able to fly a 2 place let alone give a ride. I would if I could tho but my quick Is a single seat, but I'm building my 2 place, which probably won't be done till next year tho.
@@jordonweets thanks for the fast reply. I'm a 1000 hr+ private pilot so would be legal in a 2-place but no UL experience. I'll follow your 2 place build. Thanks again.
Looks like you are enjoying every minute of your Quick so far!!!
Yes I am lol I try and fly as often as possible
Great flight and beautiful flying location. Where is this airport? Thanks for sharing.

Rotax 503 with a 52 inch prop and a 34 pitch. I really like how much power it's got been a ton of fun

@@jordonweets Trouble, how so? Discomfort/turbulence, or trying to go down when they want to go up? General controllability?
