A shorter recruit training cycle, with Agnipath in place now, poses new challenges. The Regiment of Artillery has reorganised training at the centres, modernised the infrastructure, inducted simulators, increased sports and recreational facilities. The feedback from the
    Artillery units is positive.
    Similarly, the School of Artillery where officers and senior NCOs and JCOs and JCOs are trained, modernisation has been pursued to keep pace with time.
