Today's the day! I'm thrilled to finally release my new Stratocaster guitar sample library for Kontakt. Crafted for musicians seeking exceptional sound quality and inspiration, this library is ready to elevate your music production. Discover it today and let me know what you think!
Update: The slide off of notes or chords has been added. A key switch activates the slide off, performing a slide off for all pressed notes.
If you enjoyed this video, please take a moment to share it on forums, social media, or with friends via email. It means a lot to me and helps get the word out.
A big thank you to everyone who watched, liked, and commented. Your support is truly appreciated!
Exciting update: I've added the slide/hammer-on option for sliding chords when you play funky chords.
Nice!
Thank you!
For the bassFor those asking about the bass I used in this demo, I played a real, active bass. It's similar to a Musicman but it's not the original. The sound comes from the bridge pickup, which has a lot of attack, characteristic of Chic's songs. I only added a bit of EQ directly on the bass. In the mix, I cut some frequencies to blend well with the kick drum and boosted around 300Hz. Will I create a sample library of this bass sound? Yes, possibly, depending on the level of interest. Speak up! :)
Yessssss
Yeah please
Hey everyone! Exciting update: I've added the slide/hammer-on option for sliding chords when you play funky chords.
Bravo Andrea...Being able to make the beats is wonderful...When you add Hammer-on and slides it will be even more real...Looking forward to direct guitar 4.0!
Thanks Thiago. Hammer ons, pull offs and slides is already implemented but not for the funky. Doesn't have much sense in the funky.
@@pettinhouse Please do add hammer-ons and slides to the funky, it’s mandatory for funky single-note strumming licks
Ok guys. Now I'm beginning to see what you mean by slides and hammer-ons. My bad! I'll try it. Thank you
Exciting update: I've added the slide/hammer-on option for sliding chords when you play funky chords.
@@pettinhouse Wonderful Andrea....this greatly increases the possibility of funky beats and other genres....According to the video, the clean part of the guitar is ready, now it's time to add muted notes to dirty up the rhythm and increase the humanization... ..If it's not too much to ask, another interesting articulation is with single-note you can play slide-out, to finish the sentences....I hope this is clear, I'm using Google translate....Good job!
Great sound. Which drum kit was this Andrea?
It's one of mine, but it's not for sale.
Brilliant Andrea! I want this sound
Soon my fired, soon :)
Please also add very aggressive articulations (almost like slap and pluck articulations for a bass) on the single notes. There is no guitar library that will do these very aggressive funk articulations yet!
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. It already slaps enough. I'm uploading a new video right now where you can hear that it slaps enough. By the way, I will demonstrate it in the official release video.
Thank you,
Andrea
Does the library have a way to add string scraping noise and set its volume so it’d be a bit more dirty?
Yes, it will have those noises, but besides that, if you look closely at the interface, the last slider is "string height from the neck" which increases the dirty sound. Additionally, there's the pick position that enhances and changes the sound, making it sweeter or more aggressive.
@@pettinhouse sounds good!
OMG ❤❤❤❤ Take my money !!!!
ahaha! Soon! :)
We excellent track. What sounds like a Music Man bass sample is also terrific. I’ll need to check this guitar software out.
@@robertjason6885 Actually it is not an original music man, it's my "piece of wood" from another brand which sounds very impressive for the money I spent for buying it
@@pettinhouse Yes… visiting your site again, I saw no MM sample. That said, you programmed the bass wonderfully, and mixed it perfectly. That “Fartiness” is perfect…. Exactly as it is supposed to be. The guitar is excellent… congrats!
@@robertjason6885 Thanks Robert for your feedback. yes, that MM bass is a real bass. I play bass too. :)
I particularly like the bass too - is that one of your own libraries?
He he he! I knew it. :) While I was producing the demo, frankly speaking, I was more impressed by the bass sound than the guitar! :) No, that is a real bass, but I want to produce a sample library with it. Thank you!
@@pettinhouse The guitar was just fine.
Very good. I’d love to hear the riff from Chic Cheer.
@@MrGuitarmikeg Which part? The beginning?
@@pettinhouse Yes, the picked riff.
Woooow. How did you play that bass?
With my fingers! :) It's a real bass, it is not a sample library. Gonna produce it as soon as I can
@@pettinhouse I will say, that bass will sell very well...if you can somehow manage to create a D below the bottom E string...in other words either a "hip shot" or 5th string...though that genre was ONLY 4 strings. Extremely well played and engineered.
