You know, the music he used for this video seems like a fitting song for such an old friend of a tool. And it made watching this video very calming. Almost therapeutic.
+Diesel Ramcharger actually, I don't like ruining good things. That was an out of production wrench in good shape. If it was trashed I would have hit like and shown my friends. For context, look up "roadkill crusher camaro" where they saved a camaro from the car crusher and turned it into one of the most awesome restomods ever in muscle cars.
+Boston Brotherhood -- They are the same people that haven't every made anything on their own and took pride in their work. I have to say this one of the nicest knives I have seen. Love the rustic age look.
out of the thousands of videos saying "knife blade made from _______" this one in my opinion is the best very well done you can see the old and the new right there. a beautiful functioning piece of art.
Can not describe how mellow that made me feel, like two masterpieces in one. first, that knife, it is raw but perfect in itself. the video is so well done it's ridiculous. great work
I've never wanted a knife more than this one in my life i always come back and watch this video just to see it again! I wish i had the resources to make it myself!
All you need is a hacksaw. A map torch. A file and some sand paper. I think you can find that around your house. If not those tools are cheap enough. If you want it bad enough you'll find away.
yani van handenhove I been going to doctor and getting x-rays of back and stuff. Sucks because it takes time from work and like to make my money. >:( Lol
yeah xray are shit hade them a couple of time's yeah and it always thake time and everything oke with work I presume so that its good hopping not working too hard sorry I whas not online I whas with a friend staying for a couple of days I have also heard Lylene uncle died I feel sad for here whish here mutch strength form me and my mom and for the rest everything okay with you
Dzięki za odpowiedź odnośnie materiału na noże. Chciałem jeszcze zapytać o ten środek którym smakujesz drewno dla impregnacji i tak ładnie po nim drewno wygląda. Jaki to środek? Aaa i jeszcze jedno > jaką żywice najlepiej zastosować do łączenia elementów rączki. Pozdrawiam serdecznie!!
+Trollsky I really like the roughness of this knife. For example the transition from the blade to the spine of the knife is excellent. I really admire your work.
+Jarrod P He used his belt sander and a fine grit then he stropped it on a wood dowel to get rid of burs and make it sharper. Same premise if you were to strop on leather.
+Washburnedout +Jarrod P so he just commented below, this is from an industrial grade oven of some sort, it is ceramic and grit on it is comparable to quite high grade of 5000
I think you have the same gift that only the great sculptors have: they can already see the final shape of their work in the raw material! Very great work!
Beautiful short video...loved the music...I'm finishing up making a knife from an old file that my grandfather had. Thanks for another idea...he must have a million old wrenches laying around.
te video jest zdecydowanie za krótkie, mógłbym i chciałbym oglądać jak pracujesz godzinami. Znowu zmotywowałeś mnie do zrobienia kolejnego noża, dzięki
Thank you for responding to my question. I figured out the heat treat system I will use and now just looking for time to make my first knife happen. You make it look easy. I'm a big fan of yours.
I always get excited when I see a Trollsky video has been uploaded. I love that knife. I love that you left the one box end in tact, it's very utilitarian and cool
Pretty much my favorite knife making video these days. The music works well too, and I enjoy seeing you starting your forge and quenching just the working portion of the blade is interesting because quite often you see people dip the whole blade. Beautiful piece. I'm attending a workshop soon and think I might look for an old wrench to use.
Just saw this one and as with the rest of your creations it is amazing. Love the fact that you left the wrench end there. really adds to the look of the finished product. Great work man you are an inspiration.
I love it, i love it, i love it. Your videos inspired me to become a knifemaker myself, now I have a craft I love so much thank you for being an inspiration to us all.
Magic Trollsky pulls another fine knife out of the hat. Love every one I've seen you do blade brother, keep them coming and thanks for showing us the moves. Trollsky rocks and don't listen to the critics, you da man no doubt. We love your work.
Wow, very impressive, I have never seen this type of blade forged before out of a wrench! I wish I had the tools and especially skill to craft things like this. :)
Wow you are my favourite knifemaker on youtube! I've been watching your videos for two years now and I've watched them atleast 3 times! They are so good and relaxing! I'm sixteen and I'm on the knifemaking journey now. My channel is growing and my skills are improving! I want to thank you for your videos!
Thats a really great idea for a knife!! Especially if the wrench end is still usable. I absolutely love your work Trollsky. Thank you as always for your obvious hard work and passion.
Always enjoy your creativity that makes everything you do interesting and exciting. Thank you, for your time and effort in sharing your badass skills with us.
Always puts a smile on my face when I see a new video from my favourite knife maker in the subscription feed. Awesome results!
Wow amazing.
John Heisz thank you Sir !
I love your variety.. from knives that could pass as fine art... all the way to knives made from a wrench! Which, perhaps is art in and of itself :)
Very cool!
You know, the music he used for this video seems like a fitting song for such an old friend of a tool. And it made watching this video very calming. Almost therapeutic.
How do people dislike this stuff?
They don't appreciate masterpieces. That's all. :)
+Boston Brotherhood Libtards…all they see is a weapon. Not the art.
+JaqiesGadgets I would swap my best wrench for such a nice knife any day
+Boston Brotherhood -- They are the same people that haven't every made anything on their own and took pride in their work. I have to say this one of the nicest knives I have seen. Love the rustic age look.
Very impressive. A true artist.. Loved the music also.
+Grill Warrior (The Grill Warrior) thanks a lot ! :)
+Trollskyy Do you sell it ???
You know, I was going to ask the very same question. I get it would hold up like crazy.
+pol1250 yeah. I'd be very interested in buying some of your work Trollskyy.
+pol1250 I am also interested, it is unique and impressive.
that was beautiful. i liked how you left it looking old. it shows that the knife has character or something. sweet idea
Your new movies are like a soaking rain that breaks a long drought. Completely refreshes the soul. Thanks!
Beautiful piece, very original! Awesome job!
Trollsky, a channel you get to for the knifemaking, and stay for the poetry... Your videos are simply amazing
Beautiful! I guess technically speaking that is a multitool.
But it's hard to get enough leverage while screwing bolts ;)
+skurczybyk12 Nah, its the same leverage. Just that you have to choose, leverage or fingers.
+itsFisch Not really, sure you can't grip it properly, but you can push against the back edge of the knife.
+LL Pete I wouldn't want to hold on to the sharp end so I can use the other end for a wrench. that could be dangerous :-[
out of the thousands of videos saying "knife blade made from _______" this one in my opinion is the best very well done you can see the old and the new right there. a beautiful functioning piece of art.
Coś niesamowitego....
Can not describe how mellow that made me feel, like two masterpieces in one. first, that knife, it is raw but perfect in itself. the video is so well done it's ridiculous. great work

November 2019 and still one of my all time favorite knife videos.

Beautiful short video...loved the music...I'm finishing up making a knife from an old file that my grandfather had. Thanks for another idea...he must have a million old wrenches laying around.
Any idea what type of steel this wrench is made from?
nate smith it is high carbon tool steel, but don't know which one
nate smith most spanners are made from Chromium-vanadium steel
Trollskyy awesome knife!!! :)
It's so good to see a true craftsman still working his craft, and with such skill and creativity. You, sir, are an artist.
+itsahellofaname Thank you !
What is the chemical you use to mark the chili pepper on the blade?
It's electrochemically etched, he had a how-to video he posted a while back.
+TheIlliniviking its not an electrochemical etch, its just an etch
+Nils Andersson Why is he using an electrode then?
TheIlliniviking my bad, i thought it was a straw to place the drop
