Assuming you're from California since you're asking about a green sticker. All you need is your off-road title to start the process. I would look at my other video, "How to street-legal a dirtbike", to help you with the process. California police may give you a hard time if you get pulled over due to your VIN being an offroad VIN even though your title is changed to a motorcycle title.
Use Engine Ice coolant if you live in a hot climate. Any dirt bike will require a lot of maintenance, they are not meant to be a daily. If you want a daily, buy a bike that is actually meant to be driven daily. I do love my street legal dirt bike but they are more of a weekend warrior type of thing. I did daily my KX450 for a while but it gets expensive. If you have the money and you know how to work on your own bike, go for it.
Watch my video on how to street legal your dirt bike, it’s the same way Dirt Legal would do it. Except you do all the paperwork yourself and you pay much less.
Does it have to be a green sticker

Any specific advice on making a kx450 street legal? Is it too much maintenance to daily one of these bikes as a supermoto?

Did this burn your stator out or is it still good?
I never used my stator. My stator is stock, it would have to be rewound in order to use it for a light set up.
What stator did you get?
I used a lithium feather weight battery. I didn't get my stator rewound. I just put the battery on a trickle charger at the end of the day.
@@MatthewAguero Did you get the battery from Amazon too?
