My BlueWorld obsessed three year old now fills her shape-sorting box with toys (bait) jumps off the couch (dive boat) and puts the toys into the box (sharks) that swim by. Thanks BlueWorld for inspiring new imaginative play!
I really like how you show the more gentle nature of sharks instead of trying to just label them as cold blooded killers. They are misunderstood, and i would like to dive with them one day.
SpaceShark YT yeah bull sharks are agressive but tiger sharks are more dangerous and bull sharks are mostly in rivers in the deeep wild in Amazon and ofc Amazon is really dangerous so most likely anyone will got deeep in the forest specially in the rivers where there are monsters like piranha anaconda crocs and more
It’s crazy how the worlds most dangerous shark is actually pretty chill. Reminder that sharks only kill 10 people per year and humans kill nearly 100,000,000 sharks per year.
I got bumped TWICE by bull sharks while swimming in the Atlantic Ocean at Daytona Beach, Florida in 1975. Only I didn't KNOW it was a bull shark until decades later!
Exactly why would you risk it. If it’s hungry when you decide to get in the water with it and swim it’s probably going to try to eat you. People are dumb tho
@Infinity Nexus Reviews Wasn't there a tiger shark who kept coming to the same area to prey on humans? I don't remember exactly the story, but I'm pretty sure it was a tiger.
Here in Australia Bull Sharks are all through the rivers, canals etc as well as the Oceans. I refer to them as the Dobermans of the water. Stupid enough to go for anything. This was well filmed and well informed. Clearly they're used to divers in that area. I've dived that part of Mexico too. Very cool.
I am amazed at the fact that these bull sharks are so docile. I know that most sharks aren't aggressive but bull sharks have always been an exception in that area due to the ridiculously high levels of testosterone in their blood. Now I'm seeing that even bull sharks can be docile in some scenarios. Glad I decided to look up "Friendly Bull Shark" which, up until this point, I had seen as an oxymoron.
I love love love this new paradigm about sharks. Thanks so very very much, Jonathan. I need to get under the water so badly. Excellent education, excellent lessons, beautiful documentaries.
@@BlueWorldTV Thanks I need to check those out! What I meant was more along the lines of how sharks seize you up underwater, how to not be perceived as a threat, how they establish dominance (swimming above them, have heard something along those lines not sure how accurate it is), how to not seem passive but also not a threat like waving your arms about, like you know general diving with sharks etiquette :) or what to do if you accidentally happen to encounter a curious shark whilst swimming in open water that kind of thing.
I wish the Chinese would stop killing them by taking there fins and then throwing them back into the ocean they should prosecute them butchers there is no need to do whot they do they are so beautiful
@@lindaforrester464 I i wish that too, chinese poachers are now invading our oceans for sharks here in my country the Philippines. Chinese have a very bad habit of disrespecting people sovereignty how much more sharks.
Dived with Bull Sharks in Playa del Carmen last week. Awesome animals and amazing feeling! We didn't feed them but being fed by other divers in the area I understand why they were checking us. Don't believe they're man eaters either. But you have to be carefull like you have to be carefull with a large dog that you don't know...
Tiago Caravana The bull sharks in tourist areas learn that humans feed them and they behave differently than bull sharks not exposed to humans. My father has told me stories from his trips to Fiji, where sharks are loved and cared for. The Fijians believe that their dead ancestors inhabit the souls of the sharks. Anyways, the natives have been feeding and petting the bull and tiger sharks out there for many generations and as a result, they can get the sharks to come to them by calling out and singing to them. The sharks allow the natives to hold and feed them.
Feeding sharks is really intense to watch, but to be right there when a scientist shoots one to get a sample, that too edgy for me. Thanks for creating this adventure.
I don't think any sharks are man eaters, but they are dangerous. Most sharks avoid divers and you can't get them up close unless you bait them. There is a fine line between scaring the hell out of people (aka Jaws) and treating them like cute little puppies.
I'm glad the sample-gun didn't harm or scare the shark. It's amazing how calm & gentle they were when being fed; just taking a lil' chomp at the food without caring about your arms or body at all.
I wonder if they are 'more dangerous' or if their bites 'numbers' are because of the type of murky water they sometimes inhabit, thus mistaken identity? I swam with some yesterday on a reef and did so all of last year. But I was spooked yesterday and afraid the abundance of bait fish would surround me and a shark would possibly swim thru and get me without ever even seeing me. And there were a lot of shark. Headed out today again, wishing a had a partner with me.
Wow! The worlds most dangerous shark in the world is the bull shark! I’m think they call them bull shark because it was so big and beefy, and he charges like a bull!

Oceanic Whitetip sharks are actually the most dangerous. They're the ones that show up when a ship sinks, and kill more people than all others combined.
Steven Bowers yes that is very true but the bull shark is seen as more dangerous to people because they do live in fresh water meaning they do come in contact with us more often and have the biggest bite force of any shark. But I do agree with you that in the end the white tip oceanic is a more... bold and agreseve to anything they come across including us. Still wonderful creatures
@@BeatlesLoveFrieden i think it was the USS Indianapolis during the 2nd WW it sank and the crew were drifting on wreckage and their life vests for a couple of days. I love how this show work so hard to bring viewers to see sharks in much positive light. Also, why the bull shark is called a 'bull'?
I could be wrong but I think the shape of it's nose is the reason for the name.
