Martin actually didn't like the real deal mellotrons cos he found them to be unreliable technology HOWEVER good enough software emulations of mellotrons don't have the same limitations and are really great to use and I feel like he'd agree

One of the best bands I've ever seen. I have all their albums and they're all good to great (even the Paul Menel ones).
Ιdk man I think it's kinda the coolest shit ever seeing people with 80s hairdos and clothes playing music that rivals Genesis's and Yes's better material in quality lol
They don't have a single outright bad albums, just ones that are meh COMPARED to the godtier ones. The Menel albums are solid pop rock and technically I like his vocals more (although Pete sings with a bit more emotion imo) BUT the 4 long songs on Nomzamo and Are You have INTENSELY godtier progressive stuff on them and is among their best material imo (just like this song is)
