  • The force acting on a current-carrying conductor in a magnetic field is given by Lorentz Force. This force is the result of the interaction between the magnetic field and the moving electric charges within the conductor.
    Direction of the Force:
    The direction of the force is given by the Fleming's Left-Hand Rule:
    Thumb: Direction of the Force
    Forefinger: Direction of the Magnetic Field (B)
    Middle Finger: Direction of the Current (I)
    This force is responsible for the movement of conductors in devices like electric motors.
