Just found this channel and it’s a breath of fresh air in a world full of tacti-cool bros. Nice seeing your average citizen showing her experiences and what works for her. Keep it up, subscribed
Great video! I love my modlite wml but personally like having a light with adjustable levels for pocket carry. Also, would recommend carrying a knife, if for no other reason but utility. I've gone through a lot of Spydercos, Benchmades, etc but like the Kershaw 7777 for the flipper, weight, and slim profile.
Great edc breakdown. Good to see someone carrying a med kit too. I liked the part of your story where you described how the bandages got beat up in your purse! Also, Pom oc spray works great for avoiding a physical conflict. Recently a young man threatened to beat me up and I had to defend myself. I had no cause to shoot him but the situation could have easily gotten worse as we sparred in a busy city intersection. I realized then that oc spray would have ended the threat much sooner and safer. The next guy who threatened to beat me up got a face full of POM immediately. It was a much safer and faster end to the threat for me. He seemed like he still wanted to attack me but he could not. Oh yeah, I also noticed no knife in your edc. Probably a good idea legally and tactically for most situations. I always carry a pocket knife but as a tool and not for defense.
Came across your videos cross referencing the 48 vs p365 xl. Between it and a couple others I'm sold on the 48 for my daughter. On the Frankenstein gun aspect, get a 43. You basically get four guns. A 43, a 43x, a 48, and a 43 L. The ultimate in grip concealment with the longer slide.
Excellent video! I passed it along to my wife and two daughters, who are in their twenties. I think they’ll be more receptive to your content, rather than hearing this from me.
Watching your videos gave me a place to start getting my sister to carry some kind of protection for herself, Tried to get her to range to teach her how to handle a gun didn't work (she did have a ccp but never owned a firearm), carry a tac light nope she does keep one in car door panel now and finally bought POM and she agreed to that. I carry a P365XL or Macro sometimes a full frame P320 or Ruger P89DC, 2 knives, POM and a tactical light. Along with my get home stuff in car which changes with the seasons. Still working on getting her to check out your vids and she equips herself, I think is the name of it. Thank you for the help and ideas cause I can't always be there to keep her safe
Your set up is legit. Very impressed with it. A couple of "things" that you might consider with regards to your modlite. Again legit. I would recommend using the plhv2 head for your handheld option reason being when using a handheld in the manner you are spill is very important it allows for more situational awareness the PLHv2 head has more lumens and you're not losing that much candela. What you're losing in candela you're making up for in lumen 680 (OKW) vs 1390 (PLHv2). The OKW head I feel is more suited to use on a long gun due to the throw it has. I was running the 18650 body with the thyrm switchback (check our sage dynamics youtube videos about them, they are awesome), however I switched to the 18350 with the switchback because it was more comfortable carrying in my front pocket but the way you are carrying it I think the 18650 body is more ideal for your carry style. I really think your channel is going to inspire more women to carry other items besides just the gun and magazine. I will be encouraging my wife to follow your channel. If ya'll are ever in the Raleigh NC area please send me a message I would love to introduce my wife to you so she can have a woman's point of view on carry options etc. I'm 6'00 285 lbs I have no business recommending carry options for women. LOL. Again awesome content and edc setup and gear.
Thanks for sharing your EDC, I’m still looking for medical - so perfect timing!! As always LOVE your content. Keep doing what you’re doing. Def will get a hat 🧢
Nice to see the inclusion of a tourniquet. Lots of people are more concerned with putting holes in people than they are stopping bleeding. The possibility of having to use a tourniquet (ie after witnessing an accident/injury etc) is much higher than having to use a firearm. I believe both defensive and first aid tools are both equally essential.
I carry pepper spray for mostly animals, using it on people sometimes may not have a good outcome. It's good to see you carry Daily. A lot of people that i talk to that carry a tourniquet 24/7 don't really know when to apply it , I hope everyone who carries a more advanced kit gets the training they need and keep up with it. Thank you for the video
Great review. So many are edc knife happy lol I’m surprised you don’t include one in your daily carry kit. A tiny keychain knife with scissors (Swiss Army) is very useful. I totally get how your husband prefers a smaller task flashlight. Not obsessed at all with Olight but they do excel at keychain flashlights imo. The i1R 2 Pro is a perfect task light. It’s on the keychain and you don’t even think about it.
i carry a glock p80/g17 with 2 - 17 rd mags, a surefire eb1 backup, streamlight microstream, samsung galaxy phone and watch, a gopro, and a buck fixed blade knife.
I have the 18650. It’s a little large for a pocket. I’m carrying it in a accent mag pouch on my enigma but I’d like the 18350 for easier pocket carry. I wish RCS would release the new clip for the modlite already!
The only thing I'd say is that those flashlights are really big... I carry a Streamlight 88063 ProTac 2L-X 500 Lumen Professional Tactical Flashlight because I can put it in my rear pocket along side my wallet. It very streamlined, the body, tail and head are all the same diameter (less then an inch) that makes it very comfortable... It's not the brightest but it is very bright and has alot of flood to light up everything up to 25 yards.
Never heard of Pom just looked it up and it seems like great stuff based on the ingredients I have a few mostly categorized as "law enforcement" types. I prefer the stream which this one is, over cone and gel. In regards to lights I prefer smaller ones as the best tool is the one you carry and I find larger lights I don't carry. You appear very knowledgeable, my girlfriend is looking to get her ccw permit, what have you found in terms of carry position that's worked best? Do you ever have issues with printing (female clothing is usually more form fitting than male clothing)? Do you ever off body carry like in a purse?
Cool setup. I liked the glock 48 concept. Too bad its far too dangerous in california... g19 gen 3 for me. I carry a shield as well depending on the season
If you ever go out without a purse where do you carry everything on body? I rarely have a purse with me anymore as I like being hands free when I'm carrying. My pockets are stuffed, it would be fun to see yours. 😉
If I go without a purse then I have to forgo all of my medical, with the exception of the SOFT-TW (tourniquet) in my back pocket. I'll carry the gun and the handheld light IWB, and the pepper spray will go in a pocket with a shirt in front of it. I like having it all with me though so I just keep it all in a clutch sized cross body bag, which allows me to stay hands free
Such a helpful channel. 😊 Can I ask for affiliate links for the items you use. My wife and I would like to support your channel even if it's just a small amount. Love your videos!
Just wondering what kind of bag you're using while going out down the road (or, just regular stay outside)? It seems that there are so many things on the table to carry. In addition, where do you keep your firearm while you're entering a place (e.g., movie theater) that you're not allowed to bring any? Thanks~
I carry all my medical in a small cross body purse pretty much wherever I go. There are very few places where I cannot legally carry, but I don't feel comfortable leaving it in my vehicle, so I try to make a point to run my errands where I cannot carry all in one go so that I can just leave my gun in the safe at home :)
Just subbed to the channel today. I carry pepper spray too because you don't exactly want to shoot an aggressive homeless dude or druggy that's harassing you for money. Or a persistent drunk dude. Same with flashlight.
What IWB Kydex holster do you use? I have a smaller frame and just picked up a 48 to carry. Planning on buying a separate mag carrier for the second mag that'll be on my side.

I actually firsthand witnessed someone die this way.
U don’t know how to use that
You carry too much stuff. Just my opinion.
