I've got to be honest, I was never the biggest fan of Black Swan's design, but I love Shorekeeper's. It might be my favorite design in Wuwa, in fact. The only reason people compare this is literally just the Veil.
Indeed, The Shorekeeper's design is just so ethereal, IMO. It's simple yet elegant and otherworldly - which captures the essences of her characters incredibly well. I'm impressed. i don't think about the veil at all, I think about that dress (?) and how the design around her chest is supposedly look like a pair of butterfly wings. It's beautiful.
3:57 btw she's also been everywhere watching. She was next to verina, behind yinlin and a couple of others if you look closely at the trailer too. And i have a couple ideas/theories about her 1. She might have something to do with the butterfly effect 2. She might be a tacet discord because everyone tacet mark is like a tatoo while the tacet discords marks are physical when you compare them 3. She's either a sentinel (or a weakened) or a sentinels resonator because resonators have physical changes/mutations when they become resonators and when we look at jinhsi her mutations of dragon scales and horns are identical to jue because she is their appointed resonator! Thats all i got for now 😭 but let me know what u think

If you think about, Black Shores seems like a mirror parallel with Scar's Factions, if they are that willing to accept any individual from the walks of life. Interesingly, the butterfly also provides an interesing symbolism. In chinese myhtos, it represent that soul of an individual and goes through metamorphosis. Another take is reincarnation. Thanks for the WuWa lore!
Butterfly symbolism is very interesting, especially because we don’t really know about rover past before the awakening at the black shores. I also think that the rover may have been apart of the fracidus aswell considering what scar said at the end of act 4. That once we learn of our past we’ll come over to the fracidus. Maybe the rover joined both at some point to see the thought process behind them. But then again maybe rover made the black shores to go against the fracidus after they left the fracidus. Can’t wait to learn more. Maybe the fracidus was like the black shores but over time it got corrupted.
@Major Feng Shui and Chi actually have a some easy to explain pop culture parallels you can use: one is "The Force" from Star Wars; George Lucas based the whole idea & concept of it on Chi and Feng Shui, and it's "light/dark side" contrast and it "inhabiting all things" are good parallels to Chi.. another is "Mana" or "Magic Power" from modern RPGs/JRPGs, whether D&D or Final Fantasy or whatever.. the idea that all of nature produces this energy and that by using it you can manipulate reality in supernatural ways is also a good parallel to Feng Shui.. Just thought I'd put that out there for future reference!

Yeah she is definitely up there with them considering she knows and is connected to the rover similarly. So she should be very strong lore wise. But considering they just dropped a good dps (Jinshi) and good sub/dps (changli) streets saying she may be a support healer to give verina a break 😭 cause verina has been on every team comp possible
See I don't have a problem with people comparing her to a couple of Hoyo characters it's the ones who are saying Kuro is copying that annoys me who think everything was invented by hoyo

That skin was released more than a year or two ago if I'm not mistaken in CN. Reminds me of shills saying that Watanabe's Cowboy Skin copied Boothill. Meanwhile Roland existed for centuries in PGR. 😂
Ah yes... Veil is a Hoyo property. So far, all I've seen that she's been compared with either they have Similar hair color, similar eye color (griseo or something like that), similar dress color, and the veil. Yet none of them looks similar to her.

Her tacet mark looks alot like a tacet core you see on TDs in the game.
