Huh, I found a VERY similar version of this glitch, it also involved a fork lift , the only difference is that it uses an elevator, you take a fork lift into the elevator and then while its going down get in the fork lift then exit, if you did it right you will be popped outside the door of the elevator shaft and become stuck because the doors will not open again, (sigh...) Found this out the hard way.

Oh shit I'm doing this at the wrong gate. I'm doing this at the gate near the beginning! So you have to actually get to the point where you do the whole Holdout objective where you help the marines, then get to the second area with the main gate you go through. I don't think I can do that holdout mission that fast.
What sickens me about it after Season 8 launched is that they went and stopped it completing challenges if you rally point started it. For 7 Seasons straight... 7! They didnt care, and on their last season before they stop bothering and move to Infinite they go and change it... why?! What do you get out of it when at this late stage doesnt matter. Why not just leave it. Meanwhile multiplayer is still a broken mess with bad spawn kill zones, too much assist for controllers. Hackers.
@@Seaking177 If you spawned at the Forklift checkpoint on Nightfall and did the gate glitch and completed it on a difficulty of your choosing, it'd register progress for campaign progression challenges like Skullduggery or 0/8 level complete etc So you could just breeze 2 attempts on Legendary in 5 minutes a few challenges. Since season 8, they fixed that you cant do it without playing the entire level now so that's my issue 😂
This forklift glitch can be done with 100% effectiveness with practice and knowing the angle. Just beat the mission in around 4:50 first try but you can shave it down to under 4 minutes since I had to do the checkpoint after dying once.
After succeeding at it thanks to this video, I just want to say I cannot believe the par time is balanced around this. When doing casual difficulty speedruns in CE and H2 par times I had time to kill 70% of the enemies. Reach? NO SKIP EVERYTHING.

Just did it today! Line up with the center of the door and look away from the door while exiting the forklift. It helps if a teammate can help you get lined up.
