I said it earlier, but your winter terrain is the best I've seen. What a work of art. WOW!!!

Looks very realistic, and cold! I personally don’t model winter, but, you got it down to a science. 👍🏻
The river edge techniques you added, I will be using on my layout.
Thanks for sharing you skills and knowledge.

Recently, I have had one other member of my club tell me that they are going to add a winter scene to their layout, partially due to the fact that another member is putting in a snow scene on the club layout. Whilst the club scene is looking OK, it needs more. This pair of how to instructions has been great, and I will be pushing both members to watch both episodes. I love the way that you have explained some of the real world aspects of snow, something that we do not see that often here in Australia.
Thank you for taking the time to put these videos together.

Glad you've found them helpful! would love to see some photos or video of what they're working on. i take it for granted sometimes and forget not everyone has stood in a snowy field during a storm to see what it looks like. there's nothing in the world more peaceful than being outside in the snow; everything is muffled - almost insulated, and there's a serene sparkle to the landscape that's hard to describe to someone who has never seen it. it's always been one of my favorite seasons despite the otherwise miserably cold weather.
