p.s. You can also choose the caption style FIRST if you prefer - go Captions > Caption Templates > Choose the style you like > Auto Generate Captions 😀
I have the desktop version of Capcut Pro. Effects: I manually apply my caption animation manually. It's time consuming. I want to animate my captions in Capcut but only do it once like I do in Transitions but the "Apply to All" feature doesn't seem to work with Animation as it does with Transitions. Any ideas?
@@BenClaremont After hours trying to figure out what happened I finnaly realised that the issue was in the biligual subtitle, the one I wanted to apply the template. In the original audio' subtitle the template option was there, but for some reason, the second language had the template button hidden (I laughted so much when I found out). So I had to copy and paste each segment of the second language to the original subtitle line in order to use the template.
I have noticed that with every update Capcut is reducing the number of free features and increasing the number of pro features. I could be wrong but it certainly seems that way.
At 3:18 an easier way to do this that we have found is if you go to the captions tab (to the left of "text") and click before the word that you want on the next line. Then hit "return" or "enter" it will automatically create a new line of captions and it usually gets the timing correct too 🙂
It might be more accurate if you mentioned that the "Captions" tab you mentioned at 4:04 of the video doesn't actually exist in the Windows PC version of CapCut. But at PC, some of those options are actually in the "Text" tab. However, the Captions Template option you mention right afterwards doesn't exist in the Windows PC version of CapCut either. That's exactly what I was looking for. It's a shame Capcut releases such different software for different operating systems :(

auto caption is no longer free! Whats an altenative?
Hi Ben
The link for your CapCut Editing Masterclass just seems to redirect to the Capcut website for me.
Thanks for pointing this out! Just fixed the link 😀
Love this!
3:04 - Command-B (cut) would be easier at this point.

haha i believed the stat...
The last version just made impossible to apply the templates to the subtitles, nobody is talking about this terrible update.
It still works just fine. The location of the captions is now at the top left of the software.

This is a very good channel to learn
Thanks for the email to come see this, Ben. I didn't realize I hadn't subbed to you and I have since resolved that. :)
Glad to hear it Ted!
Thank you so much.
THANKS
I don't have this "option" on the keyboard that you speak of.
Alt if you’re on PC
Capcut is getting worst day by day ...pro features disgusting

Yes! Sometimes they don’t synchronise with the voice…

I’ve seen no reductions, just additions to both free and paid.
No that’s true, I’ve noticed captions I’ve used before that were free that have become paid now.
@@WanderlustWithT i just noticed that i was like whaaaat?!
i do auto caption, but sometimes i get some missing, so i add it manually, but the speed of caption it's really fast.
how do you keep the caption on screen when it goes past it on the bar? for exmaple putting a quote over a photo, in the subtitles style, ( no voice )
Epic

Hello...I don't knoow why i cannot see it in my Mac version!
Try updating the app
How can i move the animated presets keyframes??
There’s no keyframing involved. It’s just adjusting the length of each word etc.
This caption only works if you’re speaking English
It works for every language
@@NOON2TV does it work for my language Mien?
@@KaioshinAemi yes
They made it a pro option now so its not free
True pro features are totally fake
