That is a beautiful color. The paint enhancement really makes it pop. That micro SK sure is nice. Cordless has come a long way in a short time.

Used to work at a chevy dealer as a detailer and ive never seen an orange color have as much metallic flake in it like this one does

Great job Brian. Which towels do you use for coating leveling and final buffing?
I like using Pearl weaves for initial wipe then a plush towel for final buff

Questions:
I know Speed Shine is a great clay lube, but can Hydra be used as the clay lube, leaving it on after the rinse less wash? I haven't used Hydra yet.
What mini polisher were you using? Looked like the Adams. Been wanting to get a budget friendly one.
Thank you! I believe Hydra can be used as a clay lube but you may want to contact Phoenix EOD for confirmation. Yes it’s the Adams and I love that thing.
Great vid! I have a 2022 LT1 in the same Vivid Metallic! Total polishing newbie here...just got my first polisher...a Griot's G9. Definitely see the need for a G8! I noticed you changed your pad from yellow to blue when you got to the front splitter...what was the reason? Did you follow that with yellow after the blue?
Thank you! The micro polisher needs a more aggressive pad to be affective since it spins slower and isn’t extremely powerful. I did follow it up with a polishing pad just didn’t show it. Thanks for watching

What's the little micro polisher your using and is it any good?

It depends on the temp but typically anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute

Of course I forgot to put it in the video. 🤦♂️ it was Medallion by Xtreme Solutions.

Can you list what machine/ backing plate/pad combo. 11:10 that wouldn’t pass for me. Haze galore.
It wasn’t hazy at all or I wouldn’t have let it go that way. It’s the camera lens that makes it look that way.
