Who's fault is it? Matt Eberflus and Shane Waldron for having a poor game plan after a bye, not developing Caleb correctly, the offensive line, or Ryan Poles for having no understanding on how to build a line?
Ummm anyone see CJ Stroud looking completely unaware against the jets last night? Sacked 8 times… Give Caleb a break it’s his 7th game. Watch him bounce back tomorrow.
In my opinion reason for struggles 1A. They need more shotgun / spread , up tempo offense. Not this under center play action / pro style offense. Mix it up and do what caleb knows. Change the damn line calls so teams don't pick it up. 1B. Pressure - when the bears o- line struggles caleb bails too quickly and rushes throws - typical for any nfl qb 2. Some of his drops seem to not get him to the proper depth 3. Lack of efficiency and attempts throwing the ball deep. When he has its been a mixed bag. Accuracy has been bad.
Yeah LT got injured guard got hurt but let's blame the QB yeah he missed some throws but he bounced back in the fourth quarter and it took a miracle hail Mary for Washington to win
he lead his team down the field twice and which they should have had 2 TDs had Waldron not decide to hand the ball off to a backup lineman, Caleb figured it out (better late than never) Bears should have won that game if it werent for stupid coaching and a toss and pray HM by Daniels, stop the BS Caleb is fine!
Caleb is a rookie. Everyone expects him to be as remarkable as Jayden Daniels. Some guys are NFL ready, but most are not. Chicago franchise was definitely not the best coaching situation for Caleb to land in. He has the weapons and maybe the defense to a certain extent to succeed, but the coaching is subpar
While Caleb is a rookie, he’s also a first overall pick who had been hyped to high heaven especially with the bears adding weapons for him. The issue is while he has had some good games, he’s had some really really bad games where he hasn’t been able to hit anyone. He’ll get it squared away, but I think many people weren’t expecting to see some of this play believing he turned a corner in the last couple weeks. Ultimately his oline is crap and needs to be fixed if he will succeed
I think Nix will end up being the best of the bunch. Nix has shown growth every single week, Daniels feels like he will be the next Jackson which will be great but as a pure pocket passer I feel Nix will be better, Williams will be hindered by having the wrong coaching I would like to see him with an offensive minded coach for a fair comparison
Excellent points brother. Everyone needs to calm down and let the season play out. Caleb will be fine as Mr Cosell said.
It’s crazy how before the season everyone was on Caleb’s nuts including the media now he is a rookie. Crazy how the goal post continues to move

You know your stuff. Great question, my answer is O line has been bad since at least 06 but they end up blaming every QB.

Is the bears current coaching staff actually capable of adequately developing Caleb?
No 😂😂😂
Very doubtful
Thank you bears for letting kliff leave without a contract
Bears fans gotta relax Caleb will be fine
Season is going to come down to who wins the division
Sounds familiar with Chicago QB development 😅

Most of the comments on here scream casuals and you know who you are.
He'll be killed before the end of this season because of the putrid O-Line

dog they just giving their assessment of a number 1 pick every pick had to go thru it. stop bitching

At the end of the day he has 3 top 30 receivers a top 10 rb. Bo nix has way less and he is finding a way to
Give nix the weapons the bears have and omg
And the only reason why ppl are going crazy towards him is cause before the season he was the next coming of Patrick mahomes. now he is a rookie lol
