I just play visage and queue for all 2-5 pos, Mid offlane and support no one picks or ever is scared of a visage first pick in my Archon bracket even if i pos 5 and get a solar crest im very stong and can pick up kills solo. Played visage a lot i gained lots of mmr with him its a great underrated hero Even if you get picked off and you die you can still use your birds to stun and get essential kills that win games Great hero always been but i kinda want him to remain lowkey forever :)
Nullifier and Bloodthorn are also very good items on Visage, Nullifyer because familiars proc the 80% movement slow, meaning they can't use items to escape and the familiars perma 80% move slow the target for the nullifyer duration. Bloodthorn, gives familiars true strike, very helpful against targets like PA or Butterfly builders, plus they crit multiplying your familiars DMG 10 fold, and they're silenced. My build is usually, >tangos, salve, sage mask, sage mask, >Ring of Basilius >Medallion of Courage(cheap armor, mana and DMG boost to Familiars) or Drums(cheap Mana, Stats, and AS for Familiars) or both if the game is going good , or I'm offlane. >Brown boots >Vlads(core item) >BoTs or Aghs(both are good movement options) The new Invis Aghs make you a potent hunter/ganker, plus free pathing, and AS. At this timing in the game you want to be moving around map taking towers. BoTs allow you to TP to a familiar across the map. Plus Bots makes Visage move about the same speed as his Familiars so they don't get far ahead of him. >Assault Cuirass/Nullifier/BKB/Upgrade MoC to Solar Crest(game dependent, if your pushing HG's then AC is defiantly next, if the game is getting drawn out/even then Nullifier is a deadly killing item. If your losing BKB is never a bad pick-up. Solar Crest is a tried and true Visage item, never a bad option. > Bloodthorn or Hex(late game scaling item, both let you kill virtually any hero in the game) Also the Helm of Dominator build is dead because HoD lost it's auras, meaning Familiars don't benefit at all from it unless the dominated creep gives an aura, but most of those are lackluster now.(Thanks Chen/Ench)
Also very good combo with Visage is Underlord with Aghs. Every time creep dies nearby it gives all units and heroes bonus damage, so birds can have insane damage bonuses over double the damage they would usually have and it lasts for 100 seconds.
Hey quick question, Im confused about the binding familars part. I cant bind the second one as there is no 5th control group in setting so when i press ctrl and 5 it doesnt group the familiar

I had a question actually, like visage has a very long attack animation and takes about 1.38 sec to land 1 attack, how do you consistently last hit in mid /offlane with such a high attack timing. I am a very low ranked player so probably the answer will be something obvious but could you please tell me ? ty

Yea it can work on side lanes, u need to max nuke - it charge fast and u can harass enemies (but u need mana). Pos 3-4 visage can work.

probably in settings u didnt bind "group 3" on button 5. Check Settings-Hotkeys-Control Groups (bottom right ) bind groups on buttons 3,4,5,6.

Why do you prefer +1 familiar talent?
+5 gravecloak have saved my games many times
+33% dmg, +1 stun, i think it's better. +1 bird is an agressive talent, and cloak for more passive gameplay, i don't really like it.
