Redemption. That’s all I can do to describe this Win. Last years final four has haunted me and I’m sure the rest of us for a whole year. And all I wanted was just this win. Because we can’t reach the national championship with out it. This game was won on a balanced offense and lockdown defense. And I’ve been saying it since her freshman year Brea Beal is the glue to our team. Yes she isn’t a prolific scorer but she never had to be with her play style the fact she wasn’t recognized as one of the best defenders in the country is appalling. I have the utmost confidence in her watching any teams best scorer. Not to mention her skill on the boards and her occasional shooting. Jobs not finished tho. if we can just clean up the turnovers and sloppy play. We may just be national champions. Appreciate you as always Robbie 🐐

Saniya Rivers is gonna be a monster in the years coming. Her 3ball had not been there this year like it was in high school but she is a tremendous passer. Dawn kind of switched her position from a 2 to a PG. She needs to be more aggressive going to the goal though because not many people can jump with her.
I try to get them up as early as possible, the only time it takes a day or more is if I attend the game. Wasn't able to make the Final Four, so I am able to get them up within 3-5 hours after the game ends. Enjoy!
First off I would like to say congratulations to Dawn Staley and the Lady Gamecocks. Thank you for taking us on an amazing ride this year. It’s been a joy to watch. I loved the way we were able to play this game. I definitely respect Louisville heart but it was going to be a challenge to match up against USC when your toughest player is 6ft 1 and your scorer is 5ft 6. You can’t battle Boston for forty mins like that nor evade Beal for great success during that time span. Also them having a small point guard, Henderson was gonna be a problem. This matchup was definitely in our favor and a testament to the hard work the ladies put in all season, all off season as well. I’ve seen many comments about turnovers. Let’s just appreciate the greatness we are able to see this season. Peyton Manning said each interception has its own story. We have to remember, we have played probably the toughest schedule all year. The best defensive teams, the best and peskiest players in the country all aiming for us. So turnovers are going to happen at times. It’s been a joy to watch and I’m hoping we get one more win that we can watch and rewatch anytime we want . Thanks Robbie.

Other schools fans feel that way about SC too. They hate seeing them win. SC is probably the most confident program in the country that stays true to their values and brand and it’s a reflection of Dawn. They can’t stand that though. UConn fans were so sure that SC was gonna lose to Creighton in the elite 8

HVL and Engler talk too much trash. I don’t get it. You’re in the final four fighting for your life. Why not focus on your game? HVL really think she’s the female Kobe Bryant out there. I really think this girl let the media hype go to her head.

I pray none of the freshman transfer but I have an idea of others who might. Rivers was excellent with her court vision and passing, when her shot starts hitting watch out! We got some nice girls, teams get away with a lot of mean play and they just rub it off and continue playing. UConn is going down I’m not worried at all!!!!

Noticed this tournament seemed like a University of South Carolina-ACC Challenge. Miami (FL) in the second round, UNC in the Sweet Sixteen, and Louisville in the Final Four.

I see the weakness of Louisville. The first five are terrific, they can defend and shoot, run and gun. But there is no substitute for the first 5. The bench of Louisville is so shallow, that you take one of the first 5 and the team on the court would weaken. Another thing, Hailey Van Lith has been scoring 21.1 points on average for the last 3 games. Now she did only 9 points. South Carolina did a great job by stifling Van Lith, had she scored 20 points, SC could have been defeated. Brea Beal made a good assignment in defending Van Lith and she had 4 block shots, those are big defenses. I wonder how come Van Lith who is smaller than Brea Bell did not create fake shots to avoid being blocked. SC team is taller than Louisville, their defense against the opponents' shooters was just incredible. There is a saying " Height is might,' which applied to basketball games. Time for Louisville to get good players who can substitute for the first 5, if they want to win National Championship. SC Congratulations! The unfinished business is at hand. i think is odd these refs called T for people saying and one and celebrating w/ your teammates after an and-1 shot but doesn't in the tournaments. these refrees in all divisions need to rethink their t rule book
