I'm in my third year who just changed my major to Cultural Anthropology and thought about becoming an author, and funny enough, it made the list! Also, I like the idea of taking what I learn and then going into film sometime in the future but I have to do more research there. For younger people starting out, I can say that I have had great years and lousy ones when it came to income. The thing is I hardly noticed a difference between my best financial year and the ones that were below average. Beyond a certain amount of income, I just don't notice the difference. I'm just saying this so people may take some comfort in pursuing jobs that may not be high-paying, but the income is sufficient to get by on, and the job would be enjoyable for them.
It gives me hope that so many of these jobs (and the one on the other list) only require a bachelors degree. (Edit: also your videos are very high quality, I know this is a bit of a niche topic but you’re doing a great job!)

Hi! Thank you so much for the support, it means so much! I will admit, my knowledge base is incredible biased towards American universities and would absolutely have to recommend looking into those options (however, which school specifically will depend on your needs as an individual). And to get a PhD in forensic anthropology, it can take anywhere from 5 to 8 years. The benefit though is that you get paid to be a PhD student :)

Hi! And gosh this is a tough question to answer! I think my best tip for people is to think about the future as much as they can. As yourself-what kinds of jobs do you want? What kind of job are you interested in? Which jobs can make you the salary you want? And then work backwards from there and determine if anthropology can get you there. Some career paths are high paying with an anthropology degree but others are not. Does this help?

You'll find very few or no anthropological museums like in foreign countries museums provide paid internships to students but we don't have that much opportunity here even if you'll find one it's unpaid. I can totally understand you, my parents are behaving the same way still I'm so fond of this subject and I want to build my career in this field. But still I'm trying to find a suitable career. There are jobs available but we don't have any idea about it, how and where to apply. You know how things work here. I'll let you know if I find something good.
