    Love the furnishings and modern French esthetic but I feel like they are so sterile and generic compared to the renders. I don’t know what it is but they’re just missing something. Maybe an accent wall or better wallpaper, I dunno just more flare like the halls. I think the new Caesar’s Coliseum looked better. Thanks for another great detailed video! Love seeing these thorough room tours.

      I agree! I looked at the renderings after to see what felt missing. Some had a blue velvet bench at the end of the bed. Just another case of "looked better on the internet" 😜. But thanks for watching! I tried to make it shorter but I'm glad someone appreciates my thoroughness!

    Thank you SpotWright so much for your review of the new Paris Versailles 1 king and all it does and does not have to offer. As a Diamond Plus member I enjoy Caesars' properties because my room, food, parking, etc are always comped albeit Paris is my first choice. It has been almost 2 years since my last visit and we had a Burgundy 1 King Eiffel View Room that was on a high floor with a fantastic Bellagio Fountain view, in very good physical shape, impeccably clean, and a very comfortable mattress. Food and drinks were good as well. I will be staying there mid February 2024 and after seeing your review changed my reservation to the aforementioned favorite room type. The new Versailles Tower and room offerings appear to be a great addition once completed, however this trip I'm staying with the tried and true.

      Good choice! I think this tower will be great once it's completed but there are still some hiccups and finishing touches to work through. The rooms look great but I am definitely a believer in playing it safe sometimes and sticking with what you know. You could always get them to let you check out a room for yourself if you feel like being adventurous. But I think the view is better in the original tower. Maybe hold out for when the balcony rooms are done. Enjoy your trip and thanks so much for watching and commenting!

    I'm so sorry if you said it in the video I know this was posted in jan earlier this year. But when were you actually staying there? I'm going to be visiting Vegas soon and I am considering Paris however all that construction has me questioning. Like has the bridge been completed at this point?

    • @Spot_Wright
      @Spot_Wright  4 месяца назад +1

      This video was recorded the first week of January. From what I've seen, the bridge is still not completed and they are still doing construction on the tower itself. When are you thinking of going?

      @@daysiafreeman the bridge might JUST be done by then but it's a bit of a gamble. You can still walk through Horseshoe into Paris so it's not too too bad. I'm going in the middle of August. I would have checked for you if I was going before you.

    1:00 I thought the Jubiliee Tower/Versailles was built after the former MGM Grand’s conversion to Bally’s. The ghosts from the MGM Grand are only in Horseshoe’s Resort Tower.

    • @Spot_Wright
      @Spot_Wright  7 месяцев назад

      I think the Jubilee tower was being built while the fire happened. So presumably, you're probably right that the ghosts are only in the Horseshoe (unless they decided to switch rooms after the construction).

  • @Terrie-W
    @Terrie-W 9 месяцев назад +1

    I understand u can check in at horseshoe too for those rooms instead of going to Paris and doing the long walk.

    • @Spot_Wright
      @Spot_Wright  9 месяцев назад

      I believe you are correct! I had heard that through the grapevine but no one mentioned it to us when we made the booking so we wanted to showcase the full Paris experience most people would encounter. I do think you are right though which would be good for them to highlight if they aren't already doing so; especially for those with mobility issues.

    Never put a mirror above a toilet unless you like seeing yourself peeing. A picture or some wall art to fill the space would be better.😊

    Seems like a harsh critique of a decent room. Just my opinion. And I'm not sure where the hate comes from in the comments etc for the horseshoe. I think they have some of the best value and great rooms on the strip. They definetly aren't marketing these as belagio-esq rooms but they aren't that bad

      I showed the mini fridge from the other room while talking about how the other tower has mini fridges. This tower currently does not have them.

    To be honest I stayed there over Xmas. Had slightly better view. It is strange no shelf in shower. I find its just on cheap side. Dont like the wall paper in washroom they could of done better,looks cheap and feels cheap. That mirror above desk area is all plastic. The old windows make the room still seems old. I wont stay there again main reason It does not feel like its part of Paris. On check out our safe wouldn't open after 5 days of using it and when we called front desk they said its not there problem. Our passports were in there and we had to get to airport. It took me leaving the room and chasing security down took 2 hrs. Find that its very unorganized. I cancelled Ceasers and booked this room with 2 queen beds as seeing pics of the new room but wish I kept my original booking. It is spacious and clean comfortable bed but didn't like the distance you had to walk to get to the casinos and like I said found the room decor was rushed and not planned out well. Could of been done way better. I say its a average room and I think it'll age fast. Btw hate the curtains do not think it blends in well.

      I don't think you're wrong. I definitely think they could have done better and they did miss the mark in some ways. I had originally booked to stay there as well but we heard some stories and moved to Aria instead. We just rebooked the room for one night for the tour. I'm still willing to give them another chance once things are more completed. I'd like to see how the pedestrian bridge brings the two properties together and also curious about the rooms with the balconies.
      Thanks for watching and commenting! Appreciate the support 😊

      @@Spot_Wright yeah, I’d pass too. They rushed the opening big time. It’s not even up to the renderings yet. It’s a great location there, but being close to that part of the strip means noise, the Cromwell has the same issue

      @@bethanyarnp8852 I've never stayed at The Cromwell but have always wanted to give it a chance. They seem to ask a lot for their rooms so I'm curious why. I see they have the same semi-shag/fur carpet as the Paris rooms. I had the same thought about the Paris. I won't be going back. The room at Paris had a shower large enough to run track and field in, but who needs that? The room was tired, dingie, with oversized furniture and tons of wasted space. There was no table to sit and eat. Our view was literally two walls and a roof. There was nothing going on there so we left the property everyday. We had to if we wanted to be able to afford food... can't do Martha Stewart, Lisa Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsey, or Bobby Flay every meal... or more than one meal. It was a mile walk to get to other casinos and eateries, that were more affordable and lively.

    Hmmm. Not impressed with these. Sucks you are basically staying at the horseshoe. I hate coming out of those elevators and being blasted with smoke. That walk from check-in would also be quite annoying and personally I like having the mini fridge

    • @Spot_Wright
      @Spot_Wright  9 месяцев назад

      Yeah not having the fridge was a huge miss in my opinion too. Maybe once they finish the bridge, it will feel more like part of Paris. I hope so! 🤞🏻
