Anyone realise that in the police station there is a poster that says you have the right to be safe from abuse and the police arent doing anything about kel abusing paul
I don’t know what to make of the actor who plays Kel he took on the part knowing that it was a storyline involving historical child sexual abuse because they explained the storyline too him before offering the part which he took, then quit over it a few weeks later claiming he didn’t know how bad it was gonna be!?! Sorry as someone who’s been through what Paul went through they’ve not even really scratched the surface of what abusers do too children and they’ve not shown or revealed anything that’s overtly horrific. I don’t know if to feel bad for him or not because it’s highlighting a big problem that needs addressing and he was told that before agreeing to the part which a lot of other actors turned down, to start filming then quitting over it before anything was revealed on the show I just don’t know what to think or feel about him doing that!?! They’ve had to rewrite this storyline because of him quitting over it so a lot of stuff isn’t going too be addressed properly and that really pisses me off!
Danny Nix it was all over the news, in the tv magazines, the internet even Corrie confirmed it themselves on their website and social media accounts. He did quit even the actor himself said he quit over the storyline and apologised for it because they’ve got to rewrite it!
Samantha Pavier that is insane. That man will never work again. Can you give me a link to the article? I don't really know how things work in Europe but in america, you have a contract and you just can't quit an acting job like that.
Perhaps he had hassle in real life. Unfortunately people get so involved with the stories, the acting is true to life & the modern TVs take over the house. When they see the actors outside they really believe they are the characters they portray. Some actors have been verbally & physically abused in public. May be this has happened or to someone in his family.
