The absolute greatest I ever saw. And he did it all with class.
Thank you Mr Koufax for all of your hard work and dedication to our Dodger Franchise. God Bless 🙏🏽
The best pitcher I ever saw and a great person. Thanks so much for all you have done for the Dodgers organization and baseball.
I started following baseball at age 9 in 1962. Living in St. Louis, my heroes were Gibson, Brock, Flood, Javier, and Cepeda. But three players I was in awe of were Koufax, Marichal, and Mays.
one of the biggest honors of my life was being there that day for the statue unveiling. thank you for everything sandy
Sandy Koufax one of Baseball greatest pitchers! He accomplished so much in the time he played! So glad there is a statue of him at Dodger stadium. He is a great part of this Dodgers organization history! He was simply amazing!👏 👏
My mom graduated high school with Mr Koufax in 1953 in Brooklyn. She still has her yearbook.
As a young boy, l admired Sandy on and off the field . He had an aura of humility that l admired and tried to emulate in all my life endeavors. I thank you Mr. Koufax.
Koufax and Brooks Robinson are why I fell in love with baseball as a little kid
You picked two of the best. I'm friends w/ Sandy & became an instant friend of Brooks when spent 2 weeks working a baseball camp put on for the Yomuri Giants by Don Drysdale.
I was 'talking' w/ some of the young Giants pitchers one day, (they spoke very little English, me? 3-4 words in Japanese). I motioned towards Brooksie, & asked if they knew who he was.
No, was the response from the 5-6 guys. I said, home runs, Sadahara Oh...third base, Brooks Robinson.
Their eyes got like saucers & all I heard was, oh, ah so & yes, yes in a mangled chorus.
I'll admit, I wept when I heard the news of his passing; he was one of the good ones.

The greatest of all time
cant wait till kershaw gets his statue
greatest dodgers of all
We love you, Sandy!
1963 World Series game one at Yankee Stadium. Mikey Mantle's first at bat against Koufax. Curveball called strike. Fastball outside corner called strike 2. Mikey calls time and steps out of the batter's box. Mikey mutters to (Dodger catcher John Roseboro), "John, how the f*** am I supposed to hit stuff like that?" Mickey steps back in. Fastball inside corner called strike 3.
💙 LOVE MY BOYZ IN BLUE!!! 💙

My friend told me I started to pay more attention to Sandy Koufax 😂
I never saw Koufax, but his aura is such that when his name is mentioned I always stop to watch⚾️

I wonder how much 1965 $8 is today 🤑

Stupid me thought he died years ago. He's alive and well in 2023.
1. Trade for Shohei Ohtani.
2. Extend him to a long-term contract.
3. Get him into the Hall of Fame.
4. Put his statue next to Sandy and Jackie.
(Yes, I am daydreaming, let me be.)
We don't need Shohei right now we are pretty stacked already, but I wish he could be a Dodger in the future
i just dream in the future Clayton Kershaw (once he retires) will have his statue in front of the dodger stadium aswell
Any team could use Ohtani.
