I have one season under my belt with this tripod and it's absolutely fantastic. I went with the tricer pan head, as it was a better option (in my humble opinion). Fit, finish and function is superb. I've run it with my binoculars and lightweight kowa 553 spotter with extreme success. When i put my big vortex 85mm spotter on it, it works, but you have to spread the legs more open to get the necessary stability for the heavier weight. For what i needed , i consider it the finest Ultralight backpack tripod option on the market.
How does it fit in the side of your exo k4 pack? Saw the picture but could not see the top of it. Planning on getting this tripod with the tricer head. I currently have a problem with fitting my Suiru t-124 in the side zip pocket of my exo.
Hey there! I haven't yet tried the Front Country, but it looks nice. I am testing the Outdoora.ans Carbon Inegra right now though, and it's awesome so far. Full review to come later after I use it for a season. Thanks for watching!
I have used the Tricer and this one...the Tricer is quite a bit heavier (roughly 27 oz) vs this one at about 20 Oz with the longer center column., and this one is taller. Both habe a very narrow stance. For an ultralight tripod, I'd personally pick this Aziak for the weight savings and additional height. Thanks for watching!
Hi! I really like your channel and it gives a lot of knowledge about ootics and related accessories,i just got to know that Pentax is launching it's new spotting scope Pentax PF 85 ED and i guess they have uploaded details on their website so can you please make a full depth review of this scope?? It also accepts astronomy eyepieces so that you can push the magnification.

Have you compared this to the Tricer? If so, which would you prefer of the two?

Can you tell me what the diameter of the plate is where the head attaches? Thanks!
Hey there! It's a standard Arca plate....I don't recall the diameter but it should be easy to look up. Thanks for watching!
