Yay new Aster video 🎉 I have recently updated my ancestors altar, I used to only have pictures of my grandparents because I knew they were good people, but ginding old pictures of my great grandparents (on my grandmother side) and learning that my great grandfather was physically abusive to his family (wife and four daughters including my grandmother) made me hesitate for a long time to put those up too. When I last went to visit my grandparents house I managed to gather as many things as I could, old pictures but also documents and an old handbag of my grandmother which still had some of her belongings inside including a veil she would wear to church, which now hold the tarot I use for divination with my ancestors. Thanks for the tip about the dedication of the candle! I used to dedicate it to my grandparents bit I have now added my ancestral line for those who want to help me succeed, just on case 😉 thank you so much for another quality video Aster 🙏🏽❤️ Edit: please yes to the ancestors oil!!! Edit2: I really am.mot good with sensing energies or spirits but last week just before Samhain I had a peculiar experience where I think my grandfather reached out during a prosperity magickal bath, I made the Samhain video on that because it was really really unlike anything I ever experienced

I have an ancestor altar and a couple ancestors of mine had their names lost ( of generations iver 200 years ago) but they are still present and very high vibrational in my life. Since i have no full name nor pictures I represent them by the local animals they show up to me in meditation as in my altar. It works pretty well
just wondering if you have/will be reading "The Book of Ancestors" by Claire Goodchild? I just received this book and hope to start reading it this weekend coming up 😊 Thank you for sharing your work

Yes please share the ancestor oil Also where do you get your plants? Do you grow them yourself do you by dried plants and purchase them? I do not have a home where I can grow a garden or have much sunlight. Do you have suggestions?
You can always keep plants in pots. I live in an apartment, and all my plants are potted. But they do need all the natural light they can get, it's very important. So if you can keep them by the window, it's best.
While everyone around wants to practice necromancy, summon ghosts and enter into relationships with former people I am looking for ways and methods to cut myself off from the influence of human souls I'm a weirdo? :> Maybe, but I want to be weird :D humans as a species have disappointed me greatly all I am looking for is contact with the spirits and deities of nature and other life forms that have never been human but I don't want to be passive and leave a free hand to the ghosts of people, I want to be fully separated from their influences in case they want to influence me, unfortunately I can't find an effective method and I'm afraid it doesn't exist :(
What do you recommend for those of us that don’t know much about our family history? My dad passed away unexpectedly and was an only child-his parents died before I was born. He didn’t really talk about them so I don’t have much to go on. My mother’s mom was raised in an orphanage so I don’t have much info on her either. However, when I went to a medium several years ago she said I was surrounded by female ancestors. I would love to discover who they were in my family tree. I talk to them and thank them for their presence but I would love to connect with them on a deeper level. Any advice?
I would recommend going after documents, through the birth/marriage/death registry data of our family members we can learn a lot about them. The website family search can be of great help in that regard. Also, once you start connecting spiritually with those who came before you, they will start telling you some family tales...
