You are amazing at what you do. I didn't know there were so many places you could look for records. I just found that my bio grandfather's Railroad records were at the Railroad retirement board NARA Atlanta. Looking forward to reading those papers. I appreciate you taking the time to show how you do your research. Amazing

The Chester County website has the early death registers from 1893-1907 available online. I searched it and didn’t find Edward Dillon listed. I did find two of his children in their birth registers though. They also have an index of coroner’s inquest records and Edward is listed there.

Hi Shane, I'm still back at the 29:50 minute mark trying to decipher the cause of death for Anna Dillon. The first line says "general septicemia" which is an infection, and the next word is "puerperal" which is child-bed fever - which would mean so she had either given birth or had a miscarriage shortly before that. But then it goes on to say: "origin of infection not definitely determined" The next (4th) line starts "Signs of septicemia are evident prior to admissin to the hospital." So it's kind of a mystery that they say Puerperal but then origin not definitely determined. Interesting. Also, I don't know if you saw in the death records for 1902 when you were looking for Edward, there was a Richard Dillon with a wife named Johanna - you might look at that to see if there was an error and there are any details to indicate whether that definitively Edward or not.

Gypsies... I wonder who they are referring to... probably not European Roms, I'm not aware they catched a boat to North America. Some Melungeon like community maybe?
