Rad video! Great finds! I do have a question that I feel another N. Txn can help with... the ammonites we have around here, are they worth cutting and polishing? Meaning, are they the ones with pyrite or anything "pretty?" Clearly within itself they're super rad, just didn't want to cut all mine up and find nothing visually spectacular (again, I absolutely appreciate their beauty hence asking others opinions before "destroying" them) I've literally only cut one piece of a piece but only very fine lines of minerals. Please help 🤞🤔 and thanks for the videos! Bout to hit up nsr here myself!

Thanks so much.... To be honest the majority of what we find are not worth cutting and polishing. The best we have found worth it would be from our latest River Hunt Video where we found Ammonites full of crystals.. ruclips.net/video/ctjSUYfx1Zg/видео.htmlsi=aBj7PH7CLYC32uqF

Just found you guys on RUclips and love watching the videos with my boys. We are getting ready to head out on our first fossil hunt next week. I know you can’t tell me exactly where you go but we were thinking of starting at the North Sulphur River. Would that be a good place to start? Thanks and keep the great videos coming.

Thanks Ronnie. NSR is a perfect place to start. Not sure where you are located but Mineral Wells also has a nice Fossil Park as well. 👍👍

Holy COW! Great specimens! I live in Central Texas and find tiny fossils, everywhere. A neighbor gave me a hugh half clam shell and my late brother gave me an oyster shell. I treasure both very much. Are what you're finding in Central Texas too?😮😊
