- Today's video will show you how to add and record audio narration to your slides in Microsoft PowerPoint. You'll need to make sure you have a recording device enabled before you start and its best to test out the quality/levels before narrating your audio for the voice-over.
Hopefully the video helped, if it did remember to leave a like and a sub is always appreciated. Thanks for watching! - Хобби
Because of the covid, we can’t make a presentation in classes so we have to do everything online, and I really didn’t wanna record my face for the presentation, this really helped, thanks
Glad this helped, good luck with your presentation/I hope it went well :)
I was honestly panicking on figuring out how I was going to record and upload an audio file for my class discussion board assignment and this video just saved my grade, thank you so much!
Mine doesn’t want to save with audio 😩 how did you do it
@@valeriaa_yazminn so... i can't remember how I did it but I do know that when I submitted my assignment, my instructor couldn't get the audio to play at all so if I remember how I did it I'll let you know but no guarantees others will hear the audio. I have no idea if I did something wrong but it worked fine for me so I'm not sure why she couldn't hear :(
short and sharp just as a tutorial should be. thank you
easy to follow and straight to the point it would make my power point a lot easy thank you
straight to the point, well done
It won’t let me record audio on PowerPoint at all
I think your Is a outdated
it does not show up
Very helpful because it was so clear. I got instructions from the IT Department at my university which had me going in circles. Thanks.
Thank you for making us ❤️ this type of video..
This video help me very much.
Thank you so much.
This was helpful. Thank you.
This tutorial provided the exact information I was looking for, very precise and to the point, thank you. Those that have downvoted are likely looking for a "From the beginning" solution to record audio that provides automatic playback during the presentation itself. They should look for Record >> Record Category and the options provided there.
Super helpful, thanks! :)
Thank you for sharing this amazing video✨✨
Excellent instructions, simple and clear. Thank you so much.
You're welcome, glad you found this helpful!
Thank you King❤️
Very helpful,appreciate it
Easy to follow and nice clear images to follow, thank you. This will make my online lesson recording a lot simpler!

I need help.. after we record our audio via third party software, I cant seem to play the Audio files when I transferred the slides to another computer. Do I have to manually audio record the recordings in order to hear it?
you earned a sub!
Thank you!!
thank you
I have to make a presentation in math, I really didn't wanna show my face so, thank you!
Thank you
Straight to the point loved it! But do you know how to used just one recording for all slides?
You should be able to record the powerpoint (with timings) and I am pretty sure you can record audio along with that.
Thanks
thx
What is the maximum Time length and file size for each Audio clip that can be inserted in a PowerPoint slide? (I may have missed the info while watching.)
Thanks! I’m doing my last project before I graduate with my bachelors 😝
Best of luck!!
thanks
nice
Thank god your here
Sorry, but it's God. Just saying, hehe.
@@althealouisetiffanyapa6266 oh, yea
Sorry, but it's you're. Just saying, hehe.
Thanku
Nice
How do I delete the audio if I made a mistake while making it?
Same. Trying to record narration for a deck and I now have my test file playing after the writer's test file.
I don’t see any of those options
Question: 1. What is the max audio length per slide AND 2. can one audio file be used for all slides as a lesson? If so what’s the limit? Thank u!
For question 1 I don't think there's a set limit.
For 2, you should be able to record the entire presentation with audio from the record tab (so that the presentation will play like a video). Or, if you add audio files separately, you can select one file on the first slide and then choose "play across slides" in the playback tab and that singe audio file should then keep playing on each slide.
If the audio file is external, will it get embedded or it should be linked and delivered together with the ppt file, separately?
It should be embedded but it’s probably best to check just to see if it’s properly added
Can you use more than one audio file for narration? If so then how? We have a group project presentation and each one of us need to talk in the presentation.
Yes, you can add multiple and then you should be able to choose the order that they are played in (first added should play first on each slide)
@@TropicalTech thankk youuu
thanks!
You're welcome!
dumb question, if I were to present this, would I need to manually play the audio or would it automatically play?
You can set it to play with the slide, so you it would be automatic after moving to the next slide
so does this autoplay when you present?
No, but you can record the slideshow or set it to play automatically by selecting the audio icon and then going to the playback tab. In there, you can use the drop-down box to change when it starts to "automatically".
If we record audio like this, will it play if we save it as video??
If you have set it up with timings it should
How do I play the sound while presenting?
Set it to auto play or play on click
I have 365 and the version of powerpoint does not feature a record in powerpoint option. Is there another way?
I have the same version and it is there for me
@@TropicalTech I just discovered that I must download the presentation to my laptop and open it there to use that feature
🔥
If you're using the web based PP, "Record Audio" is not an option. PowerPoint for the web doesn't support recording a slide show. These tutorials should mention that. Would have saved me tons of time searching all over.
As an alternative, you should be able to record audio on another site or locally on audacity and then upload the file
When I click audio it just takes me straight to files :(
Do you have an active microphone?
nce
The record audio box doesn’t pop up
Are you in PowerPoint in a browser or the application?
Didn’t work
Who disliked this? It’s exactly what it says
Because it doesn’t work.
@@warlordop713 oh. Well it worked for me when I did it 5 months ago
Thank you
