I think that was a very good observation by you, never noticed that Miguel didnt have his spidey sense go off, i think miguel is the only spiderman without spidey sense
2099 doesn't have spider-sense because he wasn't bitten by the spider, but his DNA was directly mixed with the spider's dna. 2099 cannot adhere to walls, in fact he has claws on his fingertips which he sticks into surfaces and has poisonous jaws with a paralyzing poison
Im pretty sure he isnt a real spider-man, again, every spider man is either Peter or Gwen and then theres Miguel and he doesnt have normal webs or normal powers he uses tech instead of spider powers and so he might be a sort of an anomaly

@@roeidayan699 he is an artificially created Spider-Man, but in a way they all are. We breifly see him give himself a booster shot, he gets his powers from a vial. Most others got it from a spider bite. There's one that is just a colony of spiders who think they're a Peter.
Not every spider person is a Peter or Miles or Gwen. Peter does represent the most spider people, but not even close to all of them.
The Spider-Man who said “My bad everyone. There was somewhere to run” Is Metro Boomin. He produced the soundtrack for this movie.
I think the reason a lot of people don’t like Hobie, especially at first, besides his pretentiousness, is that we’re supposed to feel what Miles feels. Jealousy. Over time, you see that Hobie is more like a big brother to Gwen and Miles and it’s dope

Its not so much miles being Spider-Man its more about our miles being spider man that's his problem.
Miguel's problem with 1610 miles is that he wasn't supposed to be spider-man in his eyes when Earth-42 Miles was the one that was supposed to be Spider-Man instead (plus with 1610 Miles being Spider-Man it ended up causing that whole kingpin problem, Peter Parker dying, Spot and other problems)
Well it's not our miles fault that the spider from earth 42 bit him

I’ve been thinking about this canon for a WHILE thinking what’s inevitable and what’s not. Uncle Ben or any equivalent is pretty inevitable because that’s what spurs on Spider-Man to BE the true Spider-Man. The captain? Maybe not so set in stone. Here’s some details I noticed.
Miguel stopped what would be a death of Captain Stacy with the vulture when the circumstances screamed it was his time. He was even guiding away a kid. And yet it didn’t happen. Was it because of THAT Vulture not being Gwen’s nemesis? And if so, the next question is, why did the SPOT trigger the canon event in Mumbattan with the Inspector? When he is clearly Miles’ nemesis and not the nemesis there? And if Miguel is on the same track, why is HE tied to the canon when he didn’t even get bit by a radioactive spider and has his own set of powers? When it’s clearly the SPIDER that dictates these circumstances? You ask yourself the right questions and it REALLY opens up possibilities.
Also a LOT of victim blaming. Guy gets attacked and how he can’t solve the problems when maybe it should be looked at what IS the problem and not entirely who is solving it?
And it SHOULD be what opens the gate for Miles and Gwen to get an interdimensional happy ending where they can be together…but just narratively, it’s going to get a LOT worse before it gets better. (I don’t think Gwen has EVER managed to get to her own happy ending before. Or at least none that I’ve seen.)
Hobie has likely been looking into this from the background and agrees with Miles that they should be saving whoever they can whenever they can. And they should be allowed to live life with minimal trauma if they can help it. He’s even supportive of Miles and Gwen. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but if I recall correctly I think he referenced Pan and Wendy. As in Peter Pan and Wendy. Which now that I’m thinking about it I hope that isn’t the one because that’s a Disney couple that WANTED to be together but ultimately couldn’t. Or maybe he wants them together BECAUSE of that. Just because your world is different doesn’t mean you can’t be together.
Beyond the Spiderverse is going to be INSANITY and I can’t wait.

Thank you for your sympathetic reactions to Gwen. So many villanize her or hate her for what she did, or say that she didn't care about Miles at all. Which is ridiculous. She loves him. She thought she was protecting him by keeping him in the dark. She was wrong. She admits it, takes full responsibility, and at the end, she's ready to go against the entire Spider Society and make amends for what she did by rescuing Miles and helping him defeat the Spot.
Her character arc in the movie was incredible.
There's a moment in the first spider verse, where the spider senses get synced at the same time, miles was on his way to becoming the prowler or something else even though he was bitten. There's a ditched line in the movie where miles mentions he loves his mom, his uncle and then his dad in that order, he was meant to be mentored by his uncle probably. His canon events ended up being his uncle passing but also his father accepting his son will do great things no matter what he chooses to do, he needed to hear that to get ahold of his powers, dads like that mean well but hinder their sons so much till they manage to actually open up. Then we have both parents accepting that the next generation has a handle on the future if you let them and support them. Also yeah I think this is possibly one of the best sequels ever made, possibly best movie till the third. Then it will be the greatest trilogy in my book.
I was a bit apprehensive when I first saw the trailer for portraying Miguel O'Hara aka Spider-Man 2099 in an antagonistic way because Miguel is a far cry from a villain and he's also my all-time favourite Spider-Man in the comics but the movie did an amazing job for portraying him not as the villain but more like an opposing force. Also just to clarify, he is not part vampire. That was just a joke they made in the movie becuse he has fangs which can secrete paralyzing venom.

Her dad quitting WAS PART OF HER CANON, her dad was never going to die because the canon entailed her revealing her identity to her dad and him trying to arrest her and getting depressed either way even without the timeline thing.
Miles on the other hand from what we've seen of "anti-spiral" Spot's future premonition, actually DOES have the canon event of losing his father.
The only possibility of it not happening without destroying the timeline is if the Spot's premonition was misinterpreted and never really specified him DYING,
and it turns out he lives.
Also he is an anomaly but ever since getting bitten, his universe and timeline was created and it IS a REAL universe. So technically he IS spiderman now.
even though he originally SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN, he is now. Which means his universe in the spiderverse follows the same rules as any other.
@dukReacts if you watch the first one again, the moment where Miles meets his Peter, and their Spidey senses go off and they have the "i thought i was the only one" moment. The color of Miles' Spidey sense is purple and green, but then you see it turn red and blue as he syncs up with Peter. Purple and green are the Prowler's colors, so I think they were suggesting that our Miles was probably on his way to becoming the Prowler if he hadn't been bit.
Also, the original Prowler in the main comics universe is - Hobart Brown. That's right, Hobie is not just a variant of Spider-Man; he's a variant of the Prowler. So that makes Hobie and Miles very similar across dimensions. And eventually, even mainline Hobie eventually used his brains and inventions for good, taking on the name of Hornet.
if yall didnt notice at 18:14 the spider was suppose to bite universe 42 Miles/prowler Miles but got teleported, so yeah Miles is technically an anomaly cause his universe already got a spiderman, the details man.
Edit: Easter egg on the penguins in Gwen's room cause in spider ham's universe she's penguin stacy/spider-guin. :)

Funny thing about how Gwen said she tried to Wear the mask her dad wanted and that the main point of this sequel is that anyone can wear the mask but how wear that what matters most
The Lego-scene was animated by a 14 year old fan Lego animator that the filmmakers approached after seeing how he reanimated some Into the Spider Verse scenes with Lego.
This movie was an absolutely amazing experience to watch in theaters and yeah when Gwen hugged her dad I cried like a baby.
Miguel is an actual spiderman from the year 2099 his powers are different though

Every close caiptain to Spider-Man dies
And every spider mans closest uncle dies
So if mile's dad were to become captian then him and spidey could possibly become close which makes Mile's dad's death inevitable

Miles from Earth 42 swapped places with Miles of Earth 1610, the “anomaly.” They hinted at it when Peter Parker of 1610 saved and encountered Miles, when they were showing their spidey sensing each other. Miles colors were purple and green like the Prowler before changing into the Spider-Man colors, blue and red. The Miles we know from both movies was probably destined to become the Prowler. I am curious if Gwen even exists in 1610, but given that Peter from this world has been Spider-Man for 10 years (before dying), does that mean that Gwen already died, and possibly even her father, too? It was weird that Gwen called herself Gwanda when initially meeting Miles. I don’t think that Beyond the Spider Verse will only be the showdown with Spot, but having to tie up the conflict of being in the wrong dimension, and who knows what else is going to happen there that shakes up things, trust Gwen again, get pass Miguel, save his dad (possibly his mom, too), exploiting the loophole (🤞), and ensuring his earth doesn’t collapse. With the first film, I didn’t know how they could change up things, but they really outdid themselves and created the best Spider-Man movie/superhero film to date. I trust that Beyond the Spider Verse is in good hands and that they’ll land it and finally give us a masterfully made Spider-Man trilogy!

I don't know if anyone remembers the show in Disney, but there was a Spiderman series that showed Peter parker traveled universes chasing an enemy (I think), and this Spiderman saw spiderman 2099 and Miles morales. And Miles morales there really did became spiderman, his Peter parker died and then they met Gwen Stacy but at that earth she doesn't have powers but she still does the spiderman job.
So since then, I've been aware that there is a Spiderman that isn't named Peter parker or him. I don't know if they'll follow the story there, but Miles being Spiderman is a canon event. (I'm not sure if interfering with another's canon event makes him an exemption) That's why I don't fully agree with miguel.

If Spiderman 2099 went to Peter B Parker’s Universe and ruined it by breaking canon, where does Peter B live his life with MJ and the baby? As they can’t survive in other dimensions? Or does the watch keep them alive?
But if canon events deaths of : uncle ben (father model) , captain and one important female character (gwen or aunt may model) are to be part of every story of every spider man/women . Then why did Miles from land 42 , who is not a spider man lost his father , who was a police captain ? And why does earth 42 still exist if the main canon has not been fulfilled( spider bite)

Basically what ruined it all was Earth 42 Miles I think. He went with his Uncle to become the Prowler after his Dad died and never got to become Spiderman, which resulted in the crazyness of these two movies.
(Unless someone important killed 42 Miles’ dad, then it’s their fault lmao)

You know, the reaction community often gets hate for a bunch of reactors fake screaming and hyping up their reactions. While Duk is very very loud and animated, never have I EVER questioned whether his reaction was genuine or not. He also interprets plot points and understands the emotional weight of situations, scenes, moments in a way that o find relatable. You’re great at this Duk, one of my faves for sure.

54:14 No, once you become a spider totem, you lose all forms of free will; there are no exceptions. All Spider-Men share the same destinies and events. Some may skip them, but sooner or later, it will happen.
For example, in the comics, Gwen loses her father after being killed by versions of The Invisible Woman and the Human Torch from her world.
There's no way to avoid it. Those worlds where Spider-Man is the only hero are tied to the canon, and the slightest mistake can destroy them because they are not built to last without the essence of the real important heroes.
Meanwhile, in worlds with more heroes, especially the most important ones, the duty of their Spider-Man is to protect the essence of these heroes. What Miles wants would only be possible in a world like these, something that only the Prime universe can provide, and in that universe, Miles doesn't even exist.
